Everyone was enjoying themselves for the time being. Even Aria was joining in the fun (which never happened). Steph and I eventually broke away from the crowd to talk. About everything.
"Taylor what's going on?" She said slightly annoyed. "W-what do you mean?" I asked stunned. Stephanie didn't usually act this way without a reason. "I see you making googley (idk how you spell this) eyes at Aria and Kalo. It's like you don't love me. Even that girl Ashley." She said getting upset. I don't know why she was accusing me of all these things. Of all things stupid!
"Look Stephanie." I said gritting my teeth. "If you want to go around and blow up in my face, we shouldn't be together." That's it. I snapped. My anger can be controlled most times but now it was harder than ever. Especially with all of the events that just happened. Then I noticed the tears. "Steph... I'm-" I was cut off by her screaming and running off to Lucy and Kathryn who look stunned and tried to comfort her.
Sighing, I walked over to where Sage was crying. "Hey man." I said trying to lighten the mood. He just looked at me and awkwardly smiled. "Guess who's single and ready to mingle again?" I sort of laughed but it just felt like a pain in my chest. Stephanie had been my best friend since the beginning. We did everything together. I didn't know why she was being so... so rude lately. Maybe it was her time of the month.
Meanwhile, Sage gawked at me with an open mouth. Yep. Sigh. "So.. you split huh." He said crying his tears. "I guess so." I sort of shrugged. "Then that means an open invitation to be players again!" He brightened up for the first time in hours and I half smiled. "Maybe." I said and Sage grinned bigger. "Aww yeah! The boys are back in town!" He cheered and we got some hateful looks from Ashley and Kathryn so Sage kind of sat down in an abrupt manner. In fact, so abrupt that he ended up tripping and splitting his pants which caused everyone to burst out laughing. "H..he..has underwear saying 'the baddest of them all' with an apple on them!" Aria burst out laughing/crying and I couldn't help but join in.
Was it too soon to start forming relationships already? Did I have a crush on someone else?
