I jerked myself awake, feeling my sleeping bag soaking wet. Ugh, not again. I need to control that. I looked around. The fire was out, and everyone was asleep. I stood up and walked quietly to the entrance to the cave. There was a beautiful violet sky, with vibrant blue streaks and pink clouds.

I looked at the abandon tracks near our cave. Occasionally a train comes through here and follows a path to a beach, which is one of my most favorite places on the face of this earth. I packed a bag, and I filled it with my bathing suit, some food, and sunscreen.

So I walked out to the tracks and waited for the train to come through. I nearly dozed off as I heard the whistle of it, and I finally got a good look at the driver's seat. It didn't have a driver! But it was almost too late, I had to run as fast as I could to catch up to it and swing myself into the cargo car.

I love riding on that train, I'm able to explore the cars and feel the wind blowing through my hair, and the sights are always so breathtaking. It goes through mountains, a complex cave system, and a forest that always is in the fall season. It always goes to this beach, where everything is basically at peace, and it's so amazing.

By the time I got there, the sun was already somewhat high in the sky, and the sky was as blue as ever. I unpacked my bag, changed into my suit, and put some sunscreen on. I walked into the water, and just as I did so, I felt this overwhelming feeling of power was over me, and I felt like I could control everything here.

I closed my eyes, and I felt all of the water rising at my command. I could command it to do whatever I wanted. I opened my eyes, and I saw all of the water in a ball, swirling and waiting for my command. I made it spin, drop into puddles, do basically anything I wanted to with it... until I heard someone scream behind me and all of the water dropped on top of me.

I heard laughing from behind me. I whipped around and saw who it was, and it was Taylor. His ocean blue eyes looked at me with I certain softness that I couldn't pinpoint. His brown locks were swaying in the light breeze, with his nice t-shirt and shorts look.

"So Ash, how's it going?" He asked. I could see the pain in his eyes from losing Stephanie, and I felt horrible.

"I'm fine, how are you?" I asked.

"I'm good."

"How are you dealing with... you know?" I asked cautiously.

He shrugged his shoulders. "I'm fine. Honestly, I think it was better that we split. I mean, I did start to have feelings for someone else anyway, so it was for the better."

I reeled back in shock. "Really? Who?"

He smirked and shook his head, his brown hair falling in front of one of his eyes. "I can't tell. Sorry sweetheart."

I rolled my eyes and shoved him playfully. "Oh, you're such a player."

He raised his head and smirked some more. "Oh am I? I thought I was just your regular bad boy."

I giggled. I suddenly felt Taylor move a little closer to me, but I just thought nothing of it. He suddenly wrapped his arm around my back. I look at him, and I saw an evil look in his eyes.

"Um, Taylor?" I asked. "Are you-" I was cut off as he picked me up and threw me into the water.

"What the hell man?!" I screamed out as I came back onto the beach. He was laughing his head off, and he even fell backward into the sand. I stood over him, soaking wet, and I had a little ball of water in my hand, waiting for him to sit up.

After his laughing fit, he finally sat up and said, "Oh come on Ash, I thought you were the Water Bender?"

I felt my eyes widen. "How did you know about that?!"

He pointed to my hand. "That. Also, when Sarah was alive, she knows how you pulled that water prank on the Fire Elements."

I felt something inside me collapse. I always knew Sarah didn't like me. She had even said it to my face once before. But I really cared about her brother, I mean, he was always so nice to me. I had sent the water ball back into the lake, and I collapsed to the ground.

"Hey, Ash, what's wrong?" He knelt down in front of me and pulled me into a hug.

I buried my head in his neck and began to tear up. "It's my fault she's dead."

He jerked back, shocked. "What are you talking about?! That's not true!"

"It is." I sniffled. "If Sage hadn't been in the basement with me when those people bombed us, Sarah would have been alive because Sage would have been there to protect her."

"Honestly Ash, I think you saved Sage. Because if he hadn't been in the basement with you, he could have died along with Sarah. And then what would we do about the quest? Where would our Geminis be?"

I see the truth in his words, but I still blame myself. I really hope she isn't cursing me under her breath in Heaven.

"And also," He says. "I have something to tell you."

"Yeah sure, what is it?"

I feel his hand on my cheek and I look straight into his eyes. They are filled with an emotion I can't describe. Love? Lust? I don't know. But my mind is racing and I don't know what to do. He leans in and lightly places his lips on mine. I widen my eyes in shock.

I like Taylor, I really do. But I don't like him in this way. I never have. I suddenly see someone running up behind Taylor, but I can't distinguish who it is. I suddenly feel Taylor's lips being torn away from mine as someone takes Taylor's body and slams it into the ground.

I finally realized who it was.

It was Sage.
