《 chapter 13 》

"Hey, are you fine?" Hyejin patted me on my shoulder, trying to get my attention.

"Y-Yes, of course." I stuttered and looked at her.

She raised my eyebrow at me, "Did anything happen?"

I shook my head at her and looked away, sighing softly.

I'm feeling very conflicted right now. What if I decided to get back to Jaebum when he asked earlier on? Will everything be better than how it's right now?

I doubt that I can forget him that easily.

"Anyways, why did you ask to see me?"

Ah, right. I almost forgot about it.

"Um," I paused for a while, thinking of how to start the topic. "About the fight earlier.."

Hyejin immediately frowned and looked away from me, "Did Jackson tell you to explain it to me?"

"He didn't, I wanted to talk to you myself."

She sighed when she heard my words, "He have no idea how many times I've said sorry to Sungjin just because of the stupid thing he had done."

"What?" I said, feeling a little confused. "But Jackson told me that it's Sungjin who confront him. He even warned Jackson to stay away from you?"

Hyejin's eyes widened, "Really? And that's why they started a fight?"

I nodded, and she started laughing softly.

"He should've told me earlier, so I wouldn't have to act like I'm angry at him." She mumbled softly, even though I could hear it.

A smile appeared on my face as I elbowed her softly, "You like Jackson, don't you?"

"What are you saying?! We are just friends, for god sake."

"Is that so?" I teased her and chuckled, "If you like him, then tell him. Don't make yourself regret later on."

Hyejin took a glance at me and stared at the floor, "It'll be embarrassing if he reject me."

"You'll never know. Maybe the both of you will end up together?"

She looked up and smiled lightly at me.

"Changing the topic, I'm excited for the camp on Monday!"

We went on to talk about the activities that will happen during the camp.

I almost forgot that there's a camp on Monday because of the things that happened recently. It'll be a 3 days 2 night camp at an area near our school. I heard that the scenery there is really nice, there's even a beach.

We then waved goodbye to each other when I reached my house.

"Ah choo!" I sneezed loudly as I pulled out another tissue from the box.

Why am I sick suddenly? I only took a nap when I came back home and now I'm feeling really sick.

I heard a knock on my bedroom door and my mother came in.

"Are you sure you can go for the camp tomorrow? You don't look fine." She said worriedly, sighing as I sniffled.

I shrugged, "I was looking forward to the camp though.."

"You can go on the second day, I will talk to your teacher about it. I would like to stay here and take care of you, but your father and I have to leave for our jobs tomorrow."
