But She Is My Teacher?

The New Beginning

Perrie's POV 

It is currently the start of a new week, and after the past 2 weeks, I have been through a lot. My family has been through a lot as well and I haven't been keeping up with my school work. I think it is showing in my grades. As it is the start of the new week it is also the start of the 4th quarter or making period. Ridge Berry High or Ridge for short does not have finals because they don't want to put that kind of stress on students, so thats good for me... until I get to university. I talked to my teachers and they gave me an extension on my homework and other assignments.

As for Jade, or too the rest of the student body Ms.Thirlwall, she has given an assignment for us to write a song about something the is hard for us to talk about. I don't really know what to write  about as I have already written a song for Jade but I have a decent idea I might role with. I don't want to share just yet, I am going to the mall with Jes and Leigh today so I might bring it up with them and see what they are thinking of doing.  

(Honk, Honk)

"PERRIE COME ON" screams Jesy from her car

"alright, alright hold your horses I'm coming" I say as I walk out of the door

"no need to be impatient you know"  I say as I then step into the car

"Sorry about Jesy you know she has a short temper" Leigh replies

"Hey! I do not have a short temper".. "Stupid Cow" Jesy says with a whisper

As we walk into the mall Jesy brings up the ring on my finger, and asks if it was a present from Ms.Thirlwall

"Jesy you can call her Jade you know, but yes in fact it is a promise ring" I say with confidence of their support

"Um... a promise ring?" Leigh questions "isn't it a little early, I mean you don't even know your life path yet"

"Oh come on guys its not like we are getting engaged until after i get out of Uni, that is if I even get into Uni" I say as I look off to the side to avoid their sympathy looks

"Oh come on Perrie you are very smart" Says Jesy

"Guys I have a 3.4 gap right know and I am in my last making period of Senior year and haven't applied to any collages, I missed all the deadlines to get in for next semester, Ill  have to wait for next year. And you guys already got into to your top colleges, Jesy your going to the University of Florida State, and Leigh you going to College for music. ", " But anyways what are you doing for the Choir project?"

"I was thinking of signing about how Im not like most girls, and how I am different from the popular crowd"says Jesy " I already have some of the lyrics written down

"Thats such a good Idea Jes, I was thinking of doing something like singing about my break up with Jordan last week and even though we didn't date for to long it broke my heart, that he didn't think I was good enough." Replies Leigh 

"Wow you guys are really creative my idea was jus how I am more than a pretty face..." I say

"PEZ! No that is so creative, you really shouldn't put yourself down like that because you are the most talented and creative person I know (and you to Jes) Perrie you can't talk like that about yourself, its not healthy." Leigh says as she tries to console me

"Thanks Leigh, I might just write about that then." I say as  I try to put a smile on my face

"Thats the fun smiling Perrie we know and love, come on guys lets go to Garage and try on some cute clothes" Jesy urges us on to go look for outfits for presentation day.
