It's been three weeks since the boys had finished recording Ghost and they, along with their management, were trying to decide on a release date for their newest single. There was actually a lot of thought that went into picking a release date, the New Hope Club boys had figured out. The team had to make sure there was the right amount of energy, the right time of the year, the appropriate marketing scheme was set up and then some that they hadn't bother to continue to listen to. They had just wanted Ghost to be released already. It was hard only being able to hint a new song to their fans, they wanted to share it with them. It was something they were so excited for and the boys wanted to put them out of their misery. They wanted to be put out of their misery.
Even though their nerves were through the roof, they were still buzzing at the fact that they were going to have another single out soon and then a full studio album in a matter of weeks. It was still mind blowing to the New Hope Club boys that they were going to have a physical album that would be sold in shops and over the internet. It was even more mind blowing to them that their record label had so much faith in them at such an early time in their careers. They appreciated the faith, to say the least.
Currently, the boys were on their way to a photoshoot with Dean Sherwood. It'd been awhile since they'd gotten proper photos taken so management thought it was a good idea to schedule a shoot before the album drop. They needed to film a video for Ghost as well but that was still up in the air. Hopefully, they'd have a concept soon and could give their fans a music video before the plethora of music that was on the album. Reece was still writing song after song and it was hard for everyone to pick which ones were going to be on the album. At the rate he was going, they'd have three albums worth of songs by the end of the year. They were all great but that fact just made it hard for everyone to choose which would make it on their debut album.
George was asleep against the window as all three of the boys headed to the warehouse the photoshoot was in. It was a rainy, ominous day and Blake hoped that it didn't define the way the rest of the day was going to play out. It was worrying but nothing could really bring down the excitement the boys had for the fact that their new music was to be released soon. The brunette continued to look out the window at the water droplets as they meet each other on their descent off the glass.
Eventually, they made their way inside with the rain soaking through their thin t-shirts and their hair looking like they'd all just gotten out of the shower. Although, there was a stylist that looked at them in horror before before ushering them off into a room where she began to dry all of their heads. She then through an outfit at each boy and left the room as they changed. Soon enough, they were in front of a white screen with Dean in front of them. He had been trying to get the boys to listen instead of goof off but didn't have much luck at it. They were usually very cooperative but Dean didn't know if it was nerves or just plain inattentiveness, they weren't listening to a single thing he said.
Even though they hadn't been listening, Dean was still able to get a few good shots and all was well with the world. At least for a little while, anyways. They'd gotten home after saying farewell to Dean and the other staff and had a few hours to spare before having an interview at a radio station. George and Blake were sat in front of the telly, mindlessly watching the news program that was on while scrolling through their phones. Reece was taking a nap in his room when the buzzing of his phone woke him from his sleep. He assumed it was her and sprung up, looking at the screen greedily. To his disappointment, it was just management but when he read their message, he jumped out of bed and rushed to tell the others.
"Boys," Reece's voice caused the two of them to jump slightly in their seats before turning to the blond, "I've got good news!"
"Spit it out then," Blake laughed, looking at the excited boy, "You almost made me jump out of my skin."
