There were only two days left of holiday and the boys were surprised at how quickly the past two weeks had gone by. They were all pretty saddened by the fact that regular life had snuck up on them quicker than they'd liked. There was a somber feeling throughout the living room; all three boys were sitting in silence with thoughts swirling around each of their heads. They were all thinking about how life would be after they headed back to London.
George was racking his brain for ideas of covers and new song lyrcis they could use for future songs. It may sound odd, but George was pumped full of adrenaline for what was to come. He couldn't wait to see where him and his two best mates were going to go in the world. George had a good feeling that once they got back to London, everything was going to take off. They'd write banger after banger; get more famous as their time came and get closer than they already were in the process. Nothing would be able to stop them. He knew that if he had razor focus there'd be no stopping him. He just hoped the other two boys could be as focused as him too.
Of course, George was torn up over the fact that their relaxation time was coming to an end. It's been nice not having to wake up and worry about any schedules or events or performances to get to. It was also nice not having to live up to people's expectations for a while. But George was ready to go back; he missed being in the recording booth and being behind the camera, and he especially missed being on stage. Although, he would miss Soulla's marvelous cooking.
Reece was going over his last few days in Macclesfield in his head and he couldn't help but secretly smile. The last two weeks had been amazing for him. There was nothing he wanted more than to stay put but Reece knew there were obligations he needed to uphold. Although, he wouldn't mind spending a few more days in this town. The reasoning behind that, Reece was going to keep to himself. He'd have to shake it off though; the boys were counting on him. He couldn't let his two best mates down; not for anything.
The oldest lad in the group was looking forward to returning to work as well; more than he'd ever admit. There was always something pulling him back to the stage; he couldn't explain what it was. Maybe it was because performing was just a part of him now; he'd been doing it for so long that if he couldn't; Reece wouldn't have known what to do with himself. Going back to London meant leaving the best two weeks of his life behind, but he had to do what had to be done. No matter how much it pained him to do so.
Blake couldn't wait to get back in the studio as well. There was so much creativity flowing through his mind at the moment that he was about to explode with energy. Performing was a part of him and nothing could take that away. Well, aside from losing his voice but Blake was hoping that'd never happen. The two other boys in the room were such good friends to him and he couldn't ask for anything better. The past two weeks have just shown how much they all care for each other.
Blake was at a crossroads as well. Except, everyone knew exactly why it would hurt the brunette to leave his childhood home once again. Blake hadn't exactly made it a secret that he had strong feelings for Adeline. The two had always been people that felt emotions with everything in them and they never toned down those feelings for anyone. Although, this time around, Blake was feeling a lot more intensely than he had before. Things between him and Adeline were different to say the least. They still acted like best mates but there was something more. Even though neither one of them wanted to admit it. They didn't want to change the status quo of their lives. But then again, everything already had changed.
Blake made eye contact with Reece and George and smiled slowly. They were all thinking the same thing. None of them could wait to get back to working but they were all sad that there was something they'd be leaving behind. George would be leaving Soulla's amazing cooking, Reece would be leaving a mystery the boys hadn't figured out yet and Blake would be leaving Adeline. It really brought down their overall mood, to say the least, but they were still happy to get back to work soon.
