The sun was shining through the window that had had rainwater running down the pane for hours on end the night before. Blake woke up first, like he always did when they had their sleepovers, and looked over to the beautiful girl in his arms. He never would have thought in a million years that Adeline would be back in his arms after everything they'd been through. Blake wanted to freeze this moment and have it with him at all times, as cliché as that sounds. He tried to keep his breathing to a normal rhythm as to not disturb the love of his life.

Blake knew that he was young and stupid but there was one thing he was certain of and that was Adeline is the love that he'd never find again. He wasn't letting her go a second time. With this thought, Blake instinctively pulled the sleeping girl closer to him, feeling the warmth she created as he did so. Adeline woke up then, her eyes fluttering open like she was in a fairytale. In a way, she felt like she was waking up from an endless slumber with the man of her dreams staring down at her. It couldn't be more perfect.

The birds began singing then, a sign of a real fairy tale moment and it caused Adeline to laugh, making Blake jump as he hadn't seen her eyes open. She snuggled closer to him and the brunette boy smiled. He pulled her closer as if that was even possible. But the thing that gave Adeline a sense of belonging in that exact moment, was that she felt safe. She felt utterly safe with Blake, and loved. God, did she feel loved.

"What are you laughing at then, Lister?" Blake's voice echoed through the empty room, disrupting the peaceful morning the two were engulfed in, "Something amusing you?"

"I was just thinking," she began before a small giggle escaped her lips, "This is like a fairy tale; even the birds are singing."

"Maybe we are in a fairy tale," Blake mused, angling his head so he can look down at the blonde, "Maybe we're actually just characters in someone's story."

"Oh, shut up," she slapped his chest lightly while she could hear the vibrations radiating off of him, "It's not like we're made up people, or our feelings are made up. You and I are real people. You love me and, and I love you. Simple as that."

Blake's head shot up at the end of Adeline's sentence, surprised at her declaration of love for him. He felt the same though, completely and utterly the same. He knew that the feelings he had for Adeline were wholehearted and true. He knew that he loved Adeline and would love her until the day that he died. He also knew that everything going through his head would sound overdramatic and cliché coming out of a teenager's mouth so he kept it to a simple, I love you too, before kissing the top of her head. Adeline snuggled further into Blake's neck as the conversation flowed silent. The pair laid still like they were the only two in the world for another hour or so before knowing it was time to get back to the real world and take ahold of their responsibilities.

Blake looked at his phone for the first time in hours, seeing that his phone was overloaded with texts and calls. Most were from the boys, a few from his mum and three or four from management. He basically ignored the ones from management, replied to his mum that he was with Adeline and told the boys he should be home by the end of the day. Blake left Adeline's room to give her a bit of privacy to get ready for the day. He strode down the stairs and was met with the inquisitive look of Sienna. She was leaning against the kitchen island, a cup of coffee steaming in her hand and a smirk on her lips.

"Hello there," she raised an eyebrow at Blake while he looked like he was a deer caught in the headlights, "Got something you need to tell me about there, Blake? Like why you're coming down from my daughter's room?"

"Uh," Blake couldn't find the words in his brain to respond to the older version of the girl he loved and just allowed his mouth to stay open as the older woman stared at him in amusement. Truth is, Sienna just wanted to see him squirm. Soulla and Sienna had been rooting for the two to be together since both of them were pregnant.
