"Honey please come to your fathers game tonight- it's his first game of the season."

"Mom I really don't want to-"
"That's too bad you're coming whether you like it or not so get ready. It's going to be warm tonight so dress light."
You looked at yourself in the mirror and sighed. You turned around and opened up your drawer to some jean shorts and your pink and blue tye-dye shirt. (Picture above)
"We're leaving come on." Your mom shouted from the first floor. You sighed.
You and your mom were finally at your dad's game. It was already getting dark.
"Honey go ask someone for some bug spray."
"MOM! I don't know anyone!" You complained.
"Yeah but they know you, and your dad. Go. No phone if you don't go."
"Uuuuugh." You said walking away, you saw a kid around your age in a grey.. hoodie.. he looked familiar.
"Hi do you have bug spray?" You asked some lady with a dog.
"You must be (Y/N)! I know your father, no I don't sorry. I'm Jessica." The lady said holding out one hand. You shook her hand and then you felt a tap on your shoulder.
"(Y/N)?" The kid from ea- JONATHAN!?
"Jonathan? Is that you?" You asked looking up at him.
"You bet. How've you been? I missed you. Wait that sounded cheesy."
"I missed you too. I didn't know you'd be here though!"
"Yeah, dad forces me to go to every game. Had no reason to go until now."
"Oh?" You said, blushing a little.
"There's a park down a couple blocks, let's ditch this place."
"Wait! Let me ask my mom." You said walking away.
"Hi mom, I found Jonathan and he wants to go to the park can I go?"
"Jonathan? Jonathan Combs? Oh fine. Just make sure he watches you."
"Okay then." You said running to Jonathan.
You two both made it to the park. He walked straight to the swing set.
"So how's life been?" You asked swinging.
"Ugh. Embarrassing. I fricking hate it."
"Oh I'm so sorry to hear that." You said staring at him.
"I really wish you would be in my class next year- or even just my school."
"Me too."
"I'm happy I met you at that party.."
"Me too Jonathan!" You said happily.
"You're clueless. (Y/N) I'm done."
"D-done? With what?" You asked, your face, worried.
"I'm done waiting. (Y/N), I love you. A lot. A. Lot."
"What?!" You said as he frowned.
"S-sorry. I've never liked anyone, I don't really kno-" he said, but you cut him off, hugging him. You pecked his nose and his eyes widened.
"Jonathan, I love you too."
