Today was the third day I skip school, my secret is around school, and James decided to beat me, my bruises didn't went away quite yet.

Instead of a belt, this time he used his 9 1/2 shoe. He even kick me in my stomach as hard as he could. A smile spread across my face when I start cramping bad, thought I lost the baby, but I didn't.

"Your a fat lazy ass hoe!" He spat.

James woke me out of my sleep to clean up the mess I didn't make.

"Bu... But I clean up the kitchen before I took a nap." I stared at him with a hint of maze in my eyes.

"So your trying to call me a lie?" His voice grew deeper.

I didn't know weather if I should say yes or no. Yes because I know what I did before I drifted off to sleep. No because if I said yes, the subject would only get worser.

"Know what?" He said taking off his dirty sneakers.

Since I didn't answer fast enough, this was going to be my punishment.

James hated being disregard.

I tried running out of my room, instead James trip me. Once I fell to the ground, he repeatedly began trenchant me.

The tears travel down my face, a shadow appear above my head, letting me know someone was watching me getting beat on.

His way of showing off, he kick me as hard as he can in my stomach.

I held my stomach as I winch in pain.

"Excuse me? Do you know where my mommy is?" A 5 year old girl to be exact, ask me.

The girl wore a yellow dress, tiny white and yellow sandals, her hair was braided into 2 conrows, with a white bow in the middle of her head.

"No. Where did you last seen her?" I stared at the girl for a while.

"I don't know." She shrugged her shoulders.

"Okay I'll help you find her." I said.

"Really?" She smile showing off her missing front tooth.

Her tiny hand grab my finger tips, as we wander the whole park.

"There she is!" She pointed to a white beautiful lady that she look like.

"Hayley!" She touch her heart as she sighed in relief.

The way she hug her mother made my heart melt. The moment was so priceless.

"What did I tell you about wandering off. Anything could have happen to you. You had mommy scared." The lady hug her tight.

My mother instinct was starting to kick in, just thinking about my child wandering off anywhere had my heart pulsating fast.

"Oh." The lady look up to me.

"I'm so sorry." I said apologizing for watching their moment.

"No I'm sorry, hope she didn't bother you from anything. I really appreciate you bringing her back to me." The lady held her daughter tight.

"You welcome." I gave her a role play smile.

"No you really don't know how happy I am. Anything could have happen to my daughter. The world is crazy, thank God he sent her to a angel." The lady uttered.

The most nicest thing anyone ever said to me.

A actual smile spread across my face.

"Thank you." I blush a little.
