Maisy

My blur eyes slowly creek open, a(n) angel was standing over me. The sun beam down making his chocolate eyes two shades lighter. I could have sworn a halo was above his head.

"Maisy?" He stared at me not once blinking his eyes.

My blur eyes became a clearer version for me.

My heart began beating two times after than it was before.

He turn around to take a glance at the heart monitor that recorded every step my heart took.

"I'm about to go get the nurse." He rush out.

I sighed trying to maintain the fast pace of my heart, but fail. The man who child I'm carrying hit me with his car, and now eyes to eyes we meet.

"Ms. Cooper?" The doctor walk in holding a clipboard to his chest.

I couldn't really open my mouth due to the breathing mask, instead I nod my head.

"If you wasn't aware you got hit by a car 3 days ago.."

"Is my baby alright?" I tried to jump up, the cords pull me back down.

"Calm down. Calm down. Everything is fine. Lucky your in your first trimester, but if you was in your second or third trimester, 95% you probably would have lost the baby."

I sighed in relief.

"But.. You do have a fracture rib located on your left side. We was able to stitch the back of your head. Was you aware about your back of the head?" He glance at his clipboard.

"No." I lied.

I was aware about the back of my head, I should have went to the hospital when the conflict with my mom happened.

"The cut at the back of your head was healing until you got hit by a car. Your very bless Cooper."

Blessed? Blessed How? For Living Through Pain?

"I'm going to let you rest for now, but later on we going to have to run you through a couple of tests, since you have back of the head injury. We have to make sure your in the right path." He walk out of the room.

Gregory

As the doctor walk out, I walk in. Her eyes was close shut, the regretful feeling was starting to take over my body once again.

I being in the hospital with this female for 3 days and not once did I see her parents.

Her eyes open wide, our eyes was stuck on each other like glue.

"The doctor said you was going to be fine." I finally decide to speak up because the moment was starting to get awkward.

I stared at the cuts on her face, it wasn't nothing major, just miner cuts and bruises.

"I... I... I... I know." She seem to have a hard time trying to get the words out.

I sat down in the chair next to the hospital bed, folding my arms up.
