Chapter 10
Days Later
I walked over to Angel's house where Mitch lives now.
I hesitated before I knocked on the door.
"What if Mitch doesn't want to see?" I thought.
I continue to think but finally knock.
I wait for someone to answer the door and knowing Angel she should answer the door right away.
But, she doesn't.
I knock once again.
"Angel? It's me Jimmy! Are you home?" I yell at the door.
The door finally opens.
Insted of a smile on Angel's face I see tears on her face.
"Jimmy?" Angel says as she sniffs.
She wipes her tears with her long gray slevees.
"W-whats wrong?" I ask even though I dont want to know.
"Jimmy!" Angel says sobbing into my chest.
Angel continues to sobs.
"Mitch.." Angel says with pause. "Mitch got in a car accident."
My eyes widen.
"He died on impact." Angel finally says still sobbing.
"He died on impact..." The words kept on repeating in my head.
I shake my head.
"No, he can't be!" I say beginning to cry.
"Jimmy?" Angel says putting her hand on my shoulder.
I grab her hand and take it off my shoulder.
"Don't touch me!" I say yelling at Angel.
I begin to run back home with tears.
As I got home I grabbed some beer and sat down.
"I didn't get to say goodbye..."
