Chapter 28

Clayton grabs me and I struggle to make Clayton let go of me.

"Clayton let go of Jimmy." I hear Nathan command.

"Why? Jimmy is going to ruin everything!" yelled Clayton.

Suddenly Nathan checks his phone and looks at Clayton.

"Jimmy is not going to ruin the plan. I am." Nathan says and begins running away.

Clayton's eyes widen.

"She's here!" Clayton tells me.

Clayton suddenly let's go of me and begins to run after Nathan.

"Follow me!" Clayton yelled.

I nodded and begin running behind Clayton.

We soon arrived at a patients room.

"This is Mitch's room." Clayton says.

"Oh, Nathan why are you so stupid!" I heard Clayton mumble.

Clayton open the door but when he does he falls to the ground.

"Nathan!" I heard Clayton cry.

I look into the room and understand why Clayton had fallen to the ground.

Nathan was lying on the ground with a knife stabbed into Nathan's chest.

I looked over to Mitch who was lying down on his bed. But to my surprise Mitch was awake.

"Samantha was here." I heard Mitch say with a trembling voice. "I saw her do that to Nathan."

Clayton couldn't stop looking at Nathan's lifeless body.

"Before Nathan got stabbed I heard Samantha tell Nathan that he was actually trying to stab Nathan and not me." Mitch explains.

"Samantha also said that it was Clayton's punishment for disobeying her so many times." Mitch says. "And all Nathan said was that he already knew that she wanted him dead."

Clayton doesn't react. Continues to stare at Nathan's body.

"This is your fault Jimmy!" Clayton yelled at me.

"Clayton none of this was anyone's fault!" Mitch yells at Clayton.

"Shut the fuck up Mitch!" Clayton says aggressively. "This is also your fault Mitch!"

"Clayton please calm down." I tell Clayton.

"No!" Clayton yells. Suddenly Clayton begins to laugh. "But don't worry. Karma is a bitch and she'll strike!"
