The rest of his classes seemed to drag on forever. Most of them were just the same things as his first class. They got their class requirements and a rule sheet both their guardian and them had to sign. The lunch bell made kids race out of the room as if the first there got the first prize.
That's when Keith was reminded once again that he had to sit with that Lance kid. Surely it couldn't be too bad, it's not like he had a group to sit with of his own anyway. With a sigh, he made his own way through the surging crowd towards the horridly packed cafeteria. Sure enough he spotted the overly hyper Lance looking eagerly around the parade of students.
Before Keith could even make his way over Lance spotted him and waved his arms wildly to get his attention. He rolled his eyes but went over anyway.
"Hey! You actually came. I wasn't sure if you actually would or not," Lance smiled brightly, "Anyway, come on my table is over here." Lance grabbed Keith's hand to drag him over to a fairly empty table except for two other students.
One looked like a sophomore with messily chopped light brown hair and the other a large junior with short dark brown hair and a bandanna tied around his head. The smaller one was buried nose deep in Her laptop while the one with said bandanna looked up and smiled when he saw Lance.
"Hey Lance, is this that senior you were talking about?" Lance nodded in response.
"Yup, he's in my first period class. Pidge, Hunk, this is Keith." Lance introduced.
"Nice to meet you." Hunk said.
"Hey," Pidge greeted, shutting the laptop to look up at them.
Keith nodded and greeted them back.  The two of them sat down across from each other.
"So Lance we still on for hanging out after school?" Pidge asked, picking at the lunch in front of her. Lance's eyes went wide.
"I almost forgot about that but yeah definitely. After all it wouldn't be much fun around without me would it?" Lance smirked and Pidge rolled her eyes.
"Personally I wouldn't mind it being quieter. That way I can actually focus on my homework for once with out any of your crazy schemes to get a girlfriend." Pidge teased. Lance's grin turned to a pout.
"Oh come on Pidge!" He fake whined causing Keith to snicker quietly. Lance put a hand over his chest and gasped as if he'd been shot. "How dare you Keith! This is no laughing matter." This only caused Keith to laugh harder and Lance smirked.
"Okay mister big shot if you think my love life is so funny then what about yours? Do you have a special someone?" Keith caught control of himself and shook his head.
"I don't really care about stuff like that. Girls never really interested me that much I guess," Keith shrugged and looked back down at his food.
"Boo! That's boring," Lance frowned. "You're just like Pidge. There's gotta be some person you like. Maybe you'll find them now that you're in a new school."
"Why do you always bring up the fact I don't like anyone?" Pidge scowled, "I just prefer technology over boys. It's not unheard of." Hunk nodded.
"I'm with Pidge here. If Keith doesn't like anyone then just leave it be." Lance gave a long exaggerated sigh.
"You guys are no fun!" He whined causing Hunk to roll his eyes. "Besides hunk don't you have a huge crush on that exchange student anyway? What was her name again? Shay?" Hunk's face turned bright red.
"I thought you promised to keep that a secret!" Hunk mumble trying to hide his face.
"Oh come on man it's just me, Pidge and Keith here. Plus Keith is too emo to talk to anyone else. He has to keep up his loner status you know." Keith choked on his water and started coughing.
"Hey, I am not! You hardly even know me anyway!" Keith yelled. Lance laughed.
"I'm just teasing, calm down." Lance giggled. Keith frowned before going back to eating his food mumbling angrily.
"Anyway, are you coming or not Lance?" Hunk asked. Lance thought a moment before nodding.
"Yeah, I'll probably be there by 4 is that good?" Lance asked, taking a big bite of his sandwich.
"Okay cool, Keith if you want you can come too. I'll give you my number so I can text you my address." Hunk looked over at Keith who looked surprised to be included.
"Um sure I'll just have to ask my pare-" Keith paused and felt his heart stop. "I mean.. my brother first.." He bit his lip before looking back down at his food again. Hunk smiled.
"Okay!" He pulled out a piece of paper and scribbled down his number. "Here, I'll text you the address after school. Text me when you get there." Keith nodded and shoved the paper in his pocket.
"I'll see you there then," Lance grinned. Keith nodded not looking up from his food. The bell rang signaling the end of lunch and all the kids stormed back into the halls for class.
Keith pulled out his phone when he got to class and entered the number into his phone. Maybe he wouldn't be so alone this year after all.

((Hey so this is pretty short and I'm sorry about that I just didn't expect anyone to care about it so I just didn't bother updating. I will start updating on a weekly basis though, as best as I can anyway. Please do tell me if you like this because it will probably help motivate me to continue. Thank you and see you guys next Sunday!))
