If you try hard, and look with your heart instead of your eyes; you can see the righteousness in anyone. There he lay; face down in the sands of a new world. How he got there, why, it’s all unbeknownst to him.

Lament: “Ughhh…W-w-where…” his name is Lament; human before, now a Pokémon.

Lament: “Cant… drifting of…” weak, the boy couldn’t do anything, but just sit there and wait for his strength to return. His world grew tired of his unholy tasks; given to him by unholy people; as a result, it purged him. Like a sick person vomiting when given spoiled food, it rejected him. It was so cold at first, but he soon felt warmth that he hadn’t felt in a long time.

???: “Hey, wake up… a-are you alright there buddy?” a soft nervous voice asked

???: “You think he’s dead?” another high pitched, and slightly tsundere voice says, Lament opened his eyes slowly with new found strength. He lifted is body off the sand and tried to get on his feet, but feel on his face again. He was just too… weak.

???: “Okay, we know he’s alive, let’s take him back to town, maybe Autumn can help him.”

*soft, warm, plush comfort consumed him* he awoke in a small dome-like building, it didn’t take him long to realize he isn't in his home, and this was no dream. He was laid on a bed of hay and loose leaves, covered in a blanket of wool, unable to get up he decided to go to sleep, and he awoke to a different voice.

Autumn: “Well, well, looks like you’re feeling better.” Lament opened his eyes to meet with an odd creature, strange bell-shaped ears, pink and beige fur, finished with a fluffy tail. “Shi-shi and Ty brought you here; they claimed to find you semi-unconscious on the beach. Here, you should eat something. The innocent looking audino said handing him an apple. Anyone familiar with Pokémon would be won over by her cute face and suave smile, however, Lament hadn’t the foggiest idea of what Pokémon are. He stayed calm,

Lament: “Uhhhh, thank you?” He nervously said shuddering at the fact that he had no fingers, only one thing shot through his mind, get away, and get away from here!!! He already knew how he would do it. In the thirteen years of his life he spent getting in and out of cut throat situations, he’s learnt many ways to get out this. He took several bites of the large apple until his mouth was full, then pretending to chew; he scanned the area for a good escape route. Then he spat the chewed up apple into the Audino’s eyes, as she shrieked and rubbed her face, he made for the door. He was running blind for a moment or two, but when his eyes adjusted he saw more strange creatures, ordinarily walking around in this forest like village, with tree house up high and tents down below. The workers and by-standers stopped and stare as they saw Lament booking it down the path.

Lament: “What! Th-those people, no, those things! I-I have to get away!” that’s when he heard heavy footsteps coming up behind him. He looked back to that creature was chasing him.

Autumn: “STOP RUNNING!!! JUST LET ME TALK TO YOU!!! *pant* *pant* I WONT HURT YOU!”

Lament: “GET AWAY FROM ME YOU FREAK!!!” he screamed at the top of his lungs, then he noticed something in front of him, it was cart in the middle of the path holding a heap of melons, there were two Pokémon in front of it a Pikachu with ruffled fur across its chest, and bangs hanging over one eye, along with a pair of red goggles and a blue and black scarf around its neck, conversing with a much taller breloom who sported a monocle and a bowtie.

Autumn: “SHROOMSWORTH! SHI-SHI! STOP HIM!!” they both turned to him in time, Lament, got by them and rolled under the cart.  Shi-shi caught sight of Lament and recognized him. As Autumn dashed past them, she followed.

Shishi: “Autumn, isn’t that the guy me and Ty brought in this morning?”

Autumn:  “Yeah, but for some reason, he hauled ass out of the door as soon as I gave him an apple, as if he were scared of me…” they were coming up on a corner,

Shishi: “I’ll cut him off in the alley (Wait, why don’t you just use psychic?)” Shishi thought

Meanwhile, Lament, was exhausted to the point where reaching the exit gates of the village seemed like a great victory, just a few more steps and he would be free. His hopes and dreams were soon broken.

Shishi: “Quick attack!” in a flash Lament was knocked off his feet, a sharp stinging pain wracked his body, and he tumbled into a nearby wall, he tried to get up, but he was too weak from the running, so he tried to drag himself, when he realized someone stepping on a limb of his. It wasn’t his leg, or his arm, he looked back and saw a red tail about as long as his body ending in a spade shape. Shi-shi stood on it to prevent him from getting away.

Lament: “G-get. Off. Me.” he struggled to say. She only looked down at him and stared. Another series of stomps came up in the distance.

Autumn: “You caught him. Nicely done!”

Shishi: “What do you plan to do with him?” Shi-shi said crossing her arms

Autumn: “…let’s take him back to the infirmary.” She said hesitantly

Lament: “(Why was I in an infirmary?)”

Autumn: “Obviously he was just confused and scared, being in a strange place with strange people in all.” she continues, scratching the back of her head

Autumn: “Then you better put him asleep; chasing this guy down and not getting to beat the shit out of him, makes me a bit angry.” Responding with a nod, Autumn, echoed a baritone whistling sound by blowing through her fingers.

Lament: “Ugh, I feel… numb… why can’t I stay awake…I … can’t…”

Dozing off again Lament found his body lifeless, still in pain from the incredible blow…

Autumn: “…Looks like he passed out. Again, thanks. You saved me a lot of trouble. Now I just have to run a few test, drug test, blood test*sigh* its gonna be a long day.”

Shishi: “…”

Autumn: “For all we know, he could be on drugs; X-eye seeds are serious. Like, really serious.”

Shishi: “This dude is a bit odd don’t you think…? (The look in his eyes, sheer terror, as if this was all, new to him…)

Autumn: “We’ll know what’s what when I get the test back.” Autumn walked over and slung Lament over her shoulder

“It could be crack.” Chuckled Shishi.

“Or baffsalts” Implied Autumn.

“Its 'bath salts'.” Said Shishi more convincingly.

“Whatever.” Said Autumn, as she rolled her eyes.

They both looked at eachother. Nodding in agreement they stated,

Both: “Its gotta be marijuana.”
