Choi Young Do- Knight in A Shining Armor ? *Completed*

Chapter 12 : 오랜만 이네 (oraenman ine)- Long Time No See.

  "She is at His Mother's place."  Chan Young replied.  Young Do looked up. How can he forget ? He had not called his mother since he met her. 

"Boys. I can go on my bike." 

"No." came from all five of his friends. Cha Eun Sang and Lee Bo Na joined the boys in Myung Soo's studio. 

"Guys, But I will be Fi.." He tried to reason with his worrying friends in vain.

 "Do you really think we will let you go alone?" asked Cha Eun Sang.

 "On that God forsaken bike.." added Lee Bo Na. 

"There is just no way." concluded Park Myung Soo. 

"Then what do you propose?" Young Do finally gave in. 

" We are coming with you." Kim Tan Said.

They all left for Young Do's Mother house. He was feeling restless for most of the time. 

"It will be fine." Kim Tan finally said looking at the anxious Young Do.

 "It better be. We all know how scary an angry girlfriends look like." Myung Soo said looking at the girls. 

"Did you prepare a speech? You better give best proposal to my Future Sister in Law." Lee Bo Na added.

 "Guys, you are not making it any better for him. He looks already scared." Cha Eun Sang said.

 "I am quite proud of my sister. She can actually make Young Do worry. But honestly guys, if someone needs good wishes it has to be me. I was supposed to keep  it a secret, now I am taking entire crew to meet her." Chan Young said. 

"That is right, chingu. You are in more trouble than he is" said Myung Soo.A smile appeared on Young Do's face.

Young Do was actually grateful to them. He must have done something good in his life to have them in his life. He looked at them , chattering ,smiling. It eased his heart. He had lost all the hopes to see Si Ya. Now he was actually going to meet her. He looked outside the car window, replaying all his moments together- his Si Ya .

The sky was showing early hues of the evening, when they finally reached his Mother's Eatery. He looked at  'open' sign. He signed them to follow him. He looked around and found his mother by the kitchen. "Eomma." He called. "Oh Young Do ah" she smiled warmly and gave him a hug. She looked at Kim Tan. "Omo.. Tan ah! You have grown up to be taller." She said. Kim Tan came forward and hugged her. "Eomma, How have you been?" He asked her. "It is good to see you both staying together for all these years." she said. Myung Soo could not help but smirked. Others also gave in and started laughing. "Why did I say something wrong?" his mother asked. "Aniyo Eomma." Kim Tan said. "We came to meet Yoon Si Ya." Chan Young said.

   "Eomma, where is she?" Young Do asked. "Is she the one?" His mother asked him looking at Cha Eun Sang. "Ani. It is Si Ya. I have been a selfish person. I tried to deny it, tried to make a rational decision. I tried to cast away the person who cared about me the most in this entire world.   And I ended up hurting her badly. I was wrong. If only she could accept my apology." Young Do said. He knew that he had hurt her in every possible way. She must be hating me . why would not she?  Somehow this thought made him restless. He could all his life with his unrequited love for her. But he could not imagine she resenting him. "She is at the shore." Mother replied.

He ran to the shore. There she was sitting on the rock, looking at the setting sun. The soften rays of  Sun were making her black hair look a soft shade of brown. And when a chilly breeze came from the ocean, She took her legs closer to her torso. He went to sit next to her. He was trying to follow her gaze to the vast sea. 

" Oraenmanine (Long Time no see), Yoon Si Ya ssi." He said.She did not look at him.

"What took you so long?" she said.

 "What can I say? Your brother is a tough nut to crack." He tried to make her smile, to make her look at him. But she did not. He had expected that much from her. 

" Bogo sip eo. Mahni Mahni.( I really wanted to see you.. a lot)" He finally gave in. This time she looked at him. A tear rolled down her eyes. 

"I was wrong.. I was an idiot.. please forgi-" Before he could complete his apology, she got on her feet and started walking away. Young Do followed her.

 He tried to hold her hand, she pulled her hand away. "Leave me alone." she said. "No. I will not... not until I say what I have come to say." Said Young Do. Si Ya saw the pain in his eyes laced with regret. What she was doing? Why she could not see him in pain even after all the things  he had done.. All the pains he had given. She stopped. " I will not have you hate me -not for a minute, not even for a second."He said. "Why?" was her only answer to his plea. He looked at her. Her eyes were not warm anymore, as if she was looking a stranger not her Young Do. He held her hands and brought her closer to him as if to make her look deeper in to his.. as if to show her how much her absence  hurts him. "Because I can not bear this. It is ok , If you do not accept my love. I am ready for that.  I can live with you not loving me, but I can not live with seeing apathy in your eyes like we are strangers. I..  "He said  "Apology accepted. Now please go." was her reply before releasing herself from his grip and walking away.

Young Do was looking at her back. He stayed there with her. He kept his distance. But he walked the shore , thinking rather knowing , the shore she must have walked, crying , in despair. A despair now he shared with her.

Mother and Kim Tan and all others were waiting for them. Si Ya arrived first, shortly Young Do joined her. Lee Bo Na and Myung Soo let out a cheer. She hugged everyone. "How are you, Uri Dongsaeng?" Chan Young asked. "Doing Well. Does Father know that you are here?" She asked. "Of course... He knows.." Lee Bo Na tried to lie. " Very well. Then I must call father to thank him for lending you his car." Si Ya said taking her phone out of her pocket. "Ya.. Seriously  SiYa." Myung Soo took the phone out of her hand. And gave her a big bear hug. "Don't you miss me?" He asked pulling her cheeks. Kim Tan was only looking at Young Do. Young Do gave him a wry smile before nodding his 'no'. Cha Eun Sang was talking to Si Ya , saw it.
