Hi guys! Sorry for such a long wait, just recently got out of Hiatus
I'm back from vacation and life finally gave me a much needed breakSo while I'm on my break, I finally decided to get myself together and recollect a few things for this chapter
mainly because I really need to catch up with my fellow demigods, and mainly because I actually kinda miss writing more for this book and not only helping other demigods through it, but communicating with them as well
because here on Wattpad, things are seriously getting lonely
But, besides that,in all honesty, you have no idea how much it feels good to be back anyways!
Especially after these last few months of exhaustion
and especially after reading "The Burning Maze"
(no seriously, tip to all of the demigods who haven't read it yet, I recommend atleast 3 boxes of tissues before reading, oh, and to lock all sharp objects in a cabinet somewhere in case you'll start feeling a little homicidal towards Nero and crew or Uncle Rick, trust me, you'll need it)⚪Differences
Camp Half Blood:
-Camp Half Blood has 20 Cabins excluding the ones I added and unlike Camp Jupiter, the Campers are sorted by their Godly Parent, no matter the number of children had by the Godly Parent-Camp Half Blood uses a leather necklace with clay beads to track the Camper's years with the Camp instead of Tattoos
-Unlike Camp Jupiter when it comes to their Roman Campers, Greek Campers are more often taken directly to Camp Half Blood by the time they turn 12
- Satyrs are different from Fauns as Satyrs main job is to help find Demigods and guide them to Camp Half Blood
-Camp Half Blood's Campers aren't as organised and strategic in fighting style as the Romans as unlike the Romans, Camp Half Blood isn't as Militaristic
- However, unlike the Roman Demigods, Camp Half Blood fighters are more often than not solo fighters, even though they do have the capability to work in groups
- their Social Structure isn't as complex, as their Social Structure usually consists of the activities director and the head counselors as well as the camp director if the camp director is there
-Unlike Centurions, head counselors are often the eldest child of the Godly Parent unless they are challenged by a younger camper who has completed more quests than them and challenges their sibling to duel with them(as seen in the case of Piper vs Drew) or willingly steps down(as seen with Jake giving up his Position to Leo)
Camp Jupiter:
- Camp Jupiter has 5 Cohorts and unlike Camp Half Blood, the Campers are sorted by skill level and number of Campers-Camp Jupiter uses tattoos of their Camper's godly parent or the God they're descented from on their inner forearm with a bar of lines to track the Camper's years with the Camp
- Roman Campers are only taken to Camp Jupiter once they've come of age and finished training with Lupa unless they're too weak then they never get to see their Camp at all
Though the claiming circumstances are generally unknown-Unlike Satyrs that serve a purpose, Fauns don't really have any sort of job or purpose at all, unless begging for spare change or acting as stand in nurses following Battle counts as jobs
-Camp Jupiter is a Camp that prides in strategy and Organisation, given their more militaristic way of training
- And given their Militaristic nature, The Romans are trained to fight in groups of people rather than being trained to be solo fighters, though solo Roman fighters aren't unheard of
-Camp Jupiter has a more complex social structure, consisting of Praetors, Centurions, Cohorts, Senators and Probatio, all run by a pair of Praetors
-Unlike Camp Half Blood, Centurions are often assigned to their Cohorts rather than being automatically given the role unless challenged by another camper like a Head Counselor
⚫ Similarities
- When it comes to Parentage,Campers from both sides often get some of their personality traits from their Godly Parent, with a few exceptions and changes
-Both are rather diverse when it comes to various different ethnicities and cultures
-They both have similar activities and activity schedules
-Each of which ends with a big event of some kind on weekends(Capture the flag for Camp Half Blood and War Games for Camp Jupiter)
-Both have a similar concept of worshipping the gods via giving them something, even if it's by completely different means( for Camp Half Blood it's food, whereas for Camp Jupiter, it's via the altar)
-Both Camps are hidden through Magic means, each of which with a statue of some kind and a natural magic barrier
-Geography is similar within the camps, as they both take place in areas that consist of a river, hills and fields and are located in areas near the coast
I know it isn't much like all the previous chapters
but it's the least I managed to put together with the information availableespecially on my vacation in South Africa
Most of the stuff I got from The Camp Half Blood Confidential and the previous chapters of this book
But when it comes to that
I don't really care about that
as long as I'm back and as long as I'm back with my fellow demigods again!
Needless to say, do expect a few upcoming chapters
even if it's gonna take a while
(don't ask,I'm still suffering from post Trails of Apollo feels, again, dam you Uncle Rick, as if Magnus Chase wasn't bad enough)but either way, it's still good to be back!
