Victoria woke up the next day with a headache. She tried to open her eyes when she heard her name.

Evergreen: How are you?

Evergreen: He's in his room, I'm just here to help.

Evergreen: I didn't plan to, it just happened. I've regretted it everyday till today when I found out the gift the affair gave me.
Victoria: It just happened? Is that your excuse?
Evergreen: We don't choose who we fall in love with, I fell in love with Krook the first time I saw him, way before Juliet did. I didn't know my family will organise a marriage between them.
Victoria: Enough, I don't want to hear this anymore. It doesn't matter.
Evergreen: You're my daughter, I mean I've looked at you all these years but today feels like the first time. I'm just real....
Victoria: Ms Evergreen, I love and respect you a lot. You've been my rock all these years and have always been there for me, which I'm not sure you'd do if Juliet didn't ask you to. Evergreen: Okay. I'll try.

Evergreen leaves Victoria to rest. Emilia is with Krook in their room.

Emilia: I was really surprised yesterday. I've never seen that side of you.
Krook: That's cos I let you see what I want you to.
Emilia: That's like a really creepy thing to say.
Krook: Yeah, it is.
Emilia: Anyway..... yesterday you told Victoria she's the only one you've ever truly loved. Don't you love me?
Krook: Love is overrated my dear, we never really fall in love.
Emilia: Hmm, well I love you, even if you don't love me.
Krook: That's peculiar. Do you know there are security cameras all over the mansion?
Emilia: Huh?
Krook: Yeah, I had them installed a few years ago after I got robbed, they almost hurt Victoria and got away with a lot of valuables. I was so mad they got away, I knew if I had security cameras I would have seen their faces or at least have more clue on how to find them, so I got one. Victoria doesn't even know, you're the first.
Emilia: Interesting....
Krook: Give me one reason why I shouldn't kill you Emile.

Emilia: Because of your daughter. If you kill me, you'll be arrested and she'll have to live without you. You don't want that.

Krook: I did some digging after I watched you two shits on my cctv cam, I knew the retard had something on him. To my surprise it was something delicious! He has been in a relationship with Adaline for 6 years, I'm pretty sure you are just someone he uses to get extra cash.
