Normani's POV
It had been about a week and Camila was ignoring both Lauren and I. It wasn't affecting me as much as it was Lauren. Lauren had stopped talking to me about her nightmares and she shut everyone else out. She's been taking it really tough.
Walking into the bedroom, I find Camila just laying there and staring at the ceiling.
"Cut the shit Mila." I said walking up to the bed and glaring at her.
Camila didn't even respond as she continued staring at the ceiling.
"Camila!" I yelled to get her attention.
She slowly took her attention off the ceiling and looked at me silently.
"What's going on with you?!" I asked, trying not to get angry with her.
Camila just blinked at me before turning her attention back to the ceiling. Almost as if she was pretending not to hear me.
"Camila! You have to talk to me. I can't help you if you don't tell me what's going on!" I said.
Once again she just ignored me, rolling her eyes at the ceiling.
I exhaled loudly in annoyance before leaving the room, shaking my head.
"Any luck?" Emma asked from her position on the couch, all of our friends were over for a movie night.
"Nope." I said, sitting down next to her. "Where did Lauren go?" I asked, noticing Lauren wasn't in the room.
"I think she went to the garden." Emma said softly.
Sighing, I ran a hand through my hair. "I'll be back." I told everyone before making my way to the garden.
Lauren was standing at the end of the garden, looking up at the stars.
"Hey baby." I said softly, walking up to her and wrapping my arms around her waist. "Come watch the movies with us."
She tensed when I wrapped my arms around her but relaxed when she realised it was me.
She continued to look up at the stars, pointing upwards. "Is my great grandmother up there?" She mumbled.
"I believe she is, I was raised to believe that when anyone we love dies they become a star in the sky above us." I whispered softly, holding her close.
"So my grandmother is up there too?" She whispered to herself, biting her lip.
She was shivering.
"Yes." I whispered, trying to warm her up.
She simply nodded, still staring at the sky.
"Let's go inside and warm you up, we can watch movies and spend time with our friends." I said turning her around and caressing her cheek.
She tensed slightly before nodding.
Lauren took a deep breath before following me slowly into the house, her legs were shaking beneath her.
Moving into the house, we walked into the living room and I sat down leaving a space for Lauren.
Instead of sitting next to me like I expected her to, Lauren sat on the floor, bringing her knees to her chest and looking up at the television screen.
Sighing, I ran a hand through my hair. "I'm going to go check on Camila." I said softly.
Standing up, I made my way into the bedroom to find Camila laying in the same position as before, staring at the ceiling.
