Finding Out

You just went on a run, around the block. Just so you can get things of your mind, you have been crossing your fingers that you get the roll for Spider-Man Homecoming, even though your brother says you WILL.

You arrive home and push open the door, you go walk to your kitchen still puffing from your run. Your brother Chris is standing near the kitchen table with a letter in his hand.

"what's that" you say with confusion

"It's the letter to see if you got in Spider-Man Homecoming or not" he says nervously and excitedly

You freeze there, not able to move, so nervous and exited at the same time.

"have you read it?" you ask, pulling yourself to reality

"No, i wanted to read it with you" he says quietly  "It's a special moment, wether you get the role or not"  

You give him a small smile, thanking him for being there for you all this time. 

He hands you the letter slowly, patiently waiting for you to open it. You look down at the letter, and slowly open the sticky flap. You take out the letter wincing while you unfold it slowly, you read the first sentence in your head 'We would like to conform you about the role in Spider-Man Homecoming'  You look up at Chris ,"just keep reading" he says with a hush tone, you look back down at the paper 'We are pleased to conform you that you have received the role as spider-man's lover in our new movie Spider-Man homecoming!' . You drop the paper to the floor and stand there in shock...

"WELL TELL ME!! DID YOU GET IN?" Chris said loudly 

You didn't reply

He picked the paper off the floor  

"OMG Y/N YOU GOT IN" he said it so loudly, it was practically a scream

"I got in, i got in, OMG I ACTUALLY GOT IN" you say screaming around and jumping

"what is happening here?" your mum says with a curious tone

"SHE/I GOT THE ROLE" you and Chris say while giggling

"NO WAY" explained your mother

"This deserves a wonderful breakfast, come on let me make you my famous waffles" Chris says with a grin on his face

"okayyyy" you say with the most happiest smile across your face
