Finding a house wasn't an easy task. A house that was suitable for Tessa, as well as a house that could still suit for both you and Tom's beneficial needs was a complicated process. It required late night contemplations, and a lot of sacrifices. But knowing the outcome of it was something that overlapped all the cons. It was big step for you and Tom, a step that needed to be treated with precaution and patience. It was a choice that didn't involve his career, nor did it involve yours. A choice that was made by the both of you together, no one else. And no doubt this decision hasn't yet to frighten you, it has rather brought you to the midst of reality. But overthinking this was a problem that was too strong to have bonded to yourself. Knowing you could never be prepared for this added to your anxiety, but knowing who you were doing it with lowered it down. The decision was something you required as big, rather than small. It was a decision that could change everything, that could add to your small problematic emotions, but it was the right decision, you knew that. So you agreed. Agreed to living with Tom, and agreed to finding a house for the both of you, and Tessa of course. It was the right decision.

And after months of waiting, months of overlapping exhaustion, your troubles had finally come to an end. The perfect house you and Tom had been looking for finally made an appearance, and now looking at it, you knew that there was no possible way of turning back. It was your turn to take a step forward and embrace the new change, the new lifestyle, and it was safe to say that you were excited. Excited to be living with Tom, and excited about having a change. Sure the change was different, but that didn't lower your seeping level of excitement shown throughout your body. You were only a few steps away to reaching your new change, to startijhng a new beginning with you, Tom, and Tessa.

"Okay, Tom and Y/n follow me this way" There was only a few little processes that needed to be made before you and Tom bought the house, and this was one of them,

"So, I just need your confirmation that you definitely was to buy this house"

"Yes" you and Tom say in unison, earning a sweet smile from Tom sitting beside you

"Good, so were just gonna go over a few things and...."

You were to busy thinking of the future to even pay any attention to what she was saying. This was only the first step, a big step, but yet the more you think about it a small step. Yes, you were moving in with Tom, and yes this was a big deal, but then again, you guys weren't married. And there is no second doubt that you don't want to be. You want to be married to him, you want to share a life with him, but you also needed to have patience with him. And it's not like you haven't thought about this before, it's always been in the midst of your mind. Getting married to Tom was a thought that was always with you wherever you went, and making this decision has brought it back up again. You always seemed to imagine the few little details to compare what would happen if you were to marry Tom. Your decisions would be based on each other, you would be together most of the time, and you would even take his last name. Holland.

Y/n Holland

You loved how it fit perfectly with your name, and you loved how it was his. And you truly did want it to be yours as well. It seemed so nice, so real, and all you wanted was for it to come true. Because being married to the man you loved fits perfectly with anything you could ever desire for.

"Y/n, Y/n, hello?" Tom's hand was waving in front of your face, a worried expression displayed across his features.

"Yes, sorry, I spaced out" you say sending an apologetic look to the lady in front of you

"No, that's fine, we just need you to sign this please" She says, handing you a paper with Tom's signature already signed on it.

Grabbing the pen, you write your signature, handing it back to her.

"Umm, Uhh, are you sure this is your signature?" She asks, her eyes furrowing at the paper, but then quickly turning into a small smile.

"Yes, why would I write anything else?" You ask, astounded by the question being asked to you. Looking over to Tom you see his eyebrows laced with knots of confusion.

"Can I see" Tom questions, hand out gesturing towards the paper

"Yeah, sure, I think you should" She says smiling, slowly handing him the paper

Peeking over his shoulder, you see your small cursive handwriting in pen, stating,

Y/n Holland

Reading what you wrote, you immediately turn red, realisation hitting you with all the possibilities and outcomes of this small inaccuracy.

"Don't worry, we have a spare piece of paper" She says, handing you another paper to sign on.

"Uh, thanks, so sorry" you state, re-signing the sheet whilst looking over to Tom who is still looking at the paper.

"No, no, it's fine, I get it" she says, giving you a small smile, as if telling you that she knows what what's going on inside of your head.

"Well, that's I need from the two of you, you can now enjoy the rest of your day" she says grinning as your grab your bag quickly and walk out the building as fast as you could, Tom trailing behind you.

"Babe!" He says, walking faster towards you

"Babe!" Repeating his previous word, he grabs you by the waist and turns you around to face him

"Look Tom, I'm really sorry, I wasn't thinking straight and it was just some stupid misunderstanding, and I r--" You were cut of with Tom's lips crashing into yours, love and compassion being shown through one simple, sweet, action.

"I'll marry you someday Y/n, I promise"
