Chapter 6: The End of a Chapter and The beginning of Another

Brents pov

I woke up in our tent the next morning, Scotty was still sleeping soundly, so i decided to go to lake and catch us some breakfast but not before making sure our scent was well hidden. I left a note for him in case he woke up before i got back.

I shifted to my wolf and made my way to the nearby lake and waded in the water and waited, several small fish swam by which i wasn't interested in at all I knew what I wanted, finally after what seemed like an eternity a very large rainbow trout swam into my reach with lightning reflexes I struck the giant with my paw stunning it and grabbed it with my jaws and carried it back to the camp.

I returned back just in time to greet Scotty who was stepping out of the tent "G'mornin pup,  sleep well"  to which he replied "morning big daddy, yes i did, I was a little scared when i woke though until i found your note" by this time i trotted over to him and presented the fish which he took from my mouth and said "yumm I'm  starving  are we going to cook it or not" he asked to which I replied "nah i was thinking we could just eat it like it is in our true forms what do you think" , "sounds great just lemme shift real quick" and within seconds a sandy colored wolf stood before me and we ate the very large fish together.

We spent the rest of the morning together on an run around the camp and lake. We returned to the camp at midday and decided to pack up and head back into town so we could get ready to head to to the packs coming of age ceremony and our official announcement of our mating so we could have the Alpha's blessing. The Ceremonial Grounds are separate from the Packs normal meeting grounds they were located on an island in the middle of Houston County Lake.

We arrived back in town and I dropped Scotty off at his house and after a long parting kiss, I told him to go get cleaned up and ready to go to The Ceremony and that I would pick him up early so we could do to dinner at the cafe on the way.

Scotty was so excited about that that he ran into the house and I watched him and his cute little ass bouncing into the house.

I made my way back to my house parked the Jeep in the garage and headed in to go clean up and was stopped by the Alpha

"Hello son, how was the camping" he asked.

So I told him " it was great after everything calmed down" he gave a quizzical look and I continued "after we parked I shifted and carried our packs and Scotty and on the way I was blindsided by a Vampire and he carried Scotty off and attempted to claim him for his own sexual use but I was quicker than he thought and delivered his true death swiftly, after that Scotty and myself enjoyed ourselves "

" ahh I  see, well you'd better go get cleaned up and head over to Scotty so y'all can head to The Ceremony and complete the Mating Bond so nothing else tries to get him" he joked to which I rolled my eyes.

I headed up to my suite and stripped and headed for the shower and as the hot water washed over me I thought of Scotty and I got aroused so I concentrated and called to Scotty via mind link

Scotty's pov

I ran in the house and told my parents what had happened they were thankful Brent was there to protect me and then I went to my room stripped and wrapped a towel around my waist and headed to the bathroom to clean up I jumped in the shower and began washing up when I felt a presence and then heard my name called.

"Scotty" "Scotty its big daddy, can you hear me"  it wasn't a regular voice I heard it in my head like a thought so I concentrated on it and answered

" Brent?" " I can, can you?"

"Yes and I want to help you relax before The Ceremony will you allow me to do so"
