*Scotty's POV*
I wake up to my mates arms wrapped around me, I try to move but he tightens his grip.
"hmmm where are you going" his husky voice asks
"I have to pee" I replied
his hold loosens and I sit up and swing my legs off the side of the bed and stand up and nearly fall do to my legs still being asleep but I catch myself.
'dang he fucked me cripple" I think to myself and walk to the bathroom, as I pass the mirror I look in it and see the Mating Bite, I touch it and flinch "ow" its still sensitive, but I can already tell its healing, that's what Brent did last night after biting me he licked it and that sped up the healing process but I know it'll always leave a mark because the Mating Bite never fully heals.
I walk in to the bathroom and do my business and jump in the shower to clean up. I finish my shower and wrap a towel around me and head to the room to get dressed. I smile as I see my mate still sleeping, I get dressed and go to the kitchen to make coffee and breakfast.
*Brent's POV*
The smell of bacon wafts its way to my nose. I stir and decide to get up and shower and join my mate in the kitchen.
"Good Morning pup" I say
"Good Morning Big Daddy" he says smiling.
I make myself a cup of coffee and help him with the rest of breakfast.
"how are you feeling this morning" I ask
"great, I've never felt better" he answers
I pull the collar of his shirt down so I can see the Bite, I'm pleased to see its already healing so I lick it again and it sends a shiver through his lithe frame
"I didn't hurt you last night did I?"
"no, last night was everything I dreamed it would be, it was perfect and so were you"
I smile and kiss him, and we sit on the back porch and watch the sunrise as we eat our breakfast
"its so beautiful here Brent, I love this place"
"it is its my favorite place to come, this'll definitely be where we spend most of our time when not handling pack duties, speaking of we have to make a public appearance as Alpha Heir and Luna"
"but the pack already knows about us"
"its more for surrounding packs, so they know about us that means the Barringtons will be there"
he sighs "I'm not looking forward to seeing that bottom feeder"
"I know pup, But we have to so the other Alphas and Lunas can meet us"
"I know, at least its not until Halloween, that way I don't rip his face off when I see him"
I chuckle at his statement. "remind me to never piss you off huh"
he smiles and leans into my chest,.
"So what do you wanna do today pup" I ask him
"I wouldn't mind some more fun" he replies
"I think we've had enough for now, besides I need to recover, how about we go into town and meet up with friends and see what happens"
"I was kidding about the fun part, I like that idea"
We finish our breakfast, and get ready to head into town.
Scotty gets dressed in a pair of Levi's and a blue polo shirt with his band letter jacket and his favorite boots.
