I explained much of the uses of anaesthesia are complex. The weight of the patient, sleeping habits and age was taken in consideration. "Thank you ma'am." They muttered and disappeared. I checked my watch and saw it was just after eight in the evening. Shit and i didnt call or message Damon once.

"Seira!" Dr Singh called when i was just about to hit on Damon's number. "Come in my cabin. I want to talk to you." Taking my coat, stethoscope and handbag, i lazily walked to his office where he sat sipping on his coffee.
"You goin' home?"
"Yes. I was actually just calling Bernerd to fetch me."
I looked at my watch again. "You said you wanted to talk to me."
"Oh yeah. You know Damon was here." He adjusted his glasses and i knew something was coming up. Damon was full of surprises. No doubt.

"Has he done something?"
"Well not yet as i have to permit him to do that."
"Permit him, what?"
"Dont go in shock but Damon... wants to..."
"Wants to what?" My heart beat began to rise.

"He wants to buy this hospital."

Damon pov
Seira was going to burst in through the doors any minute and i was just waiting for it.

I drummed my fingers on my desk and typed away an email to Liam. He was gonna trip clearly. But this was for Seira. I could tighten the security without her even knowing it.
Mike and his wife were cunning and my Seira was naïve.

What should i eat today? Jess needs to make dinner. Should i tell her? But what?
"Damon!"
"Something chilli." I whispered before carefully going downstairs where Jess came out curious.
"Its fine Jess. I would like to have the spicy chicken fours." She nodded and went in.

"Hi Seira." I pulled her in a forced hug which she didnt return. I was dead.
"You look cute." I said watching her in fury.
"Cute?! I look cute to you!" Literally throwing her bag on the couch, "You are going to buy the hospital, is it true?"
"Not really, im still waiting for Singh's approval."
"And what about mine?"
"Your what?"
"My opinion Damon!"
"Of course Seira, i need your opinion too. Tell me what do you think about it?"
"No! You are not buying it?"

She began walking towards the kitchen. "What? Why not? I dont see the harm in buying a hospital? It expands my assets."
"My job is not your asset Damon. Yes, i know there is no harm in buying a hospital, but there is surely one with buying my workplace and my bosses."
"No one will not about it. And basically im buying out your boss's boss."
"So? Still, its where i work Damon, it wont let me work in peace. I'll be in this...shell of insecurity whether if someone will find out...and why do you want to buy a hospital? Specifically?"

Her hands were on the hips. "Err...it was my team, i mean my team, we wanted to start off from somewhere and i thought why not a hospital?"
"Damon, do you know you cant lie like this to me?"
Oops she was really mad.
I sighed. "Okay, look, due to some problems in the business, i have to earn much profits from elsewhere and hospitals are one of them." I lied.
"That adds onto to your costs even more."
"No, not really, your hospital is one of the best ones and can easily boost up the capital you know?"
I hope she didnt see that i was lying.

Instead, she sighed and went past me into the room slamming the door behind her. God she was mad.
