Carter's POV

We safely made it to Los Angeles , California
I was in complete awe at how nice this city looked in person " So what do you guys think ? " Mom asked , Everyone shrugged their shoulders a bit as we all stared out the window.

" I like it though " I nodded " Yeah its aight " Joseph agreed. " Well in about 20 minutes we'll be to our new home so get prepared " Mom said. We nodded our heads before we all went silent again . I grabbed my phone out my bag & when I opened it I seen a Text message from John that stood out to me the most

Him : I know your asleep right now but I sent you this text message because one I wanted to brighten your day & make you smile & two because I already miss you & I know I fucked up but at the end of the day you always gon be mines ion give af what nobody else say I love you Carter & I mean that shit from the bottom of my heart.

A smile crept on my face a bit but at the rate I'm going I don't think me & John will head back to that level. I love him & all but I can't keep getting hurt anymore " Carter did you hear me ? " Mom asked " Huh ? " I said looking up " I said were almost to our new home " She said. I shook my head before looking out the window the rest of the ride.

If you ask me L.A is kinda nice I could get use to this , As were driving down this beautiful neighborhood we drove past a park with a basketball court & I seen fine ass dudes playing basketball & lord forgive me . But we as we drove further down the road we reached a 2 story house & it was fabulous

" Were here guys " Mom said as we pulled into the driveway " Aye this house better than the one we had " Joseph said looking out the window " Well get use to it cause were gonna be living the luxuary " She said excitedly " Mmm what's next a mansion , beach house ? " I asked

" Maybe " she said with a smirk " Oh lord mom let's not get crazy now " I said as she cut the car off
" Boy this is L.A I'm bout to go beyond crazy " she said jumping out the car.

" She acting like we in Las Vegas or sum'n " I mumbled under my breath. Joseph looked at me & laughed a bit " What's so funny !? " Mom said side eyeing us " Oh nothing " I said with a innocent smile . She looked at us & rolled her eyes a bit before opening the trunk to grab our personal items.

We looked over realizing that the moving truck was actually sitting in the driveway next to us , before we could say a word the 2 movers walked out the house with a sigh of relief " Your all set ma'am " The man nodded as he walked towards us

" Everything's how i wanted it correct ? " she asked to clarify " Yes ma'am here come look " he said waving his hand over before we walked towards the house. We all headed towards the front door & as soon as we stepped inside i was amazed 😍

The inside was so beautiful there was a chandelier in the middle of the living room , then there was the dining room it was nice & the kitchen it was just...boy i don't think I'm leaving the house anytime soon & then there was my room it was set up just how i wanted it : Bed by the window & my dresser by the door & work desk in the corner .

" So how you like the new house ? " Joseph asked as he stood at my door , I turned & gave him a short glance before continuing to look around my room
" Pretty cool...." I shrugged " You wanna see my room ? " He asked with a chuckle. I let out out a sigh " Sure " I said before looking at him to lead the way.
