After practice I invited Ava and Graylinn to sleep over at my house. They both come around 8.
"HAIIIII!" Graylinn runs in the door.
"HAIIII. Do you know what time Ava will be here?"
"Soon."
"You're hiding something."
"AM NOT."
"I know you."
"IM NOT!!"
The doorbell rings, and I go open it for Ava.
"Hi Uvas! What is Graylinn hiding?"
"Uhhh...... nothing." She looks away.
"WHAT THE HECK DID YOU GUYS DOOOO?!?"
"NOTHING!" Graylinn says.
"You definitely did something."
We go hang out and make musical.lys for a while, then the doorbell rings.
"Ohhhkay what did you do???"
"You'll see." Graylinn and Ava laugh.
"We'll stay here." Graylinn says.
"GRILLIN! YOU. ARE. COMING. WITH. ME."
"Why meeee?"
"Because I know you're behind this."
I go open the door and see Jayden.
I slam the door in his face.
"WHY DID YOU GIVE THAT WEIRDO MY ADDRESS?!?"
"Because he likes you."
"What?"
"He does. Ava told me it was super obvious."
"Oh great." I roll my eyes.
"Open the door you're being so rude." Graylinn pushes me.
"WHY?"
"Because you're being super rude."
"I don't care."
"I DO!"
I look through the peephole. He's gone. I probably really hurt his feelings. I feel kinda bad but I don't like him back. God this is AWKWARD.
"He's gone."
"ELLAAAA! YOU'RE SO RUDEEEE!" She isn't actually mad.
I laugh.
"I do NOT like this." I mutter under my breath.
"Come on El Bell let's just go upstairs."
We walk up the stairs, and Ava jumps up.
"WHAA HAPPENEDDDD?"
"Ella scared him away."
"I JUST SLAMMED THE DOOR IN HIS FACE IT'S NOT THAT BADDDD."
Ava slaps her hand into her face. "Wowww Ella."
"Whaaat I don't like him back."
Graylinn whispers, "Yet."
I give her a confused look.
"Ella you're going to end up liking him."
"I'm NOT. He's so weird."
"Eh ok that's what you think."
I give her a mad face, although I'm not actually mad. I'm almost NEVER mad. I'm almost always happy, in fact.
"Let's just play truth or dare or something." I say.
"OOH let's go live playing truth or dare!!" Graylinn says.
"Okey lemme check my musical.ly first."
I grab my phone, and see a notification saying Jay Croes is now following me. It's crowned. I go look at the profile. It's definitely him, and he has over 4 million fans.
"Oh wow." I say.
"What?" Graylinn asks, confused.
"Uhhh it looks like Jayden just followed me."
"...And?"
"He's crowned and has over 4 million fans. I think he has a brother named Gilmher too."
"WOW. That's a LOT."
"I know."
"Lets watch some."
We end up rolling on the floor from laughter.
"I have to admit he's kinda cute." I say.
"I TOLD YOU." Graylinn says.
"I never said I liked him."
She rolls her eyes.
"Let's just go to bed, it's getting late."
"Ok."
