An ear piercing scream made me jolt up from the sleeping position I was laying in and had my ears on alert, trying to pick up any sound. My eyes were wide open, scanning the dark living room. I laid back down and closed my eyes, rolling over so I was laying on my side.

“Please..” I heard a small voice whimper, it was a woman’s voice. I opened my eyes again and sat up, waiting for another sound to be heard, instead it stayed dead silent. I thought I was getting crazy and started to imagine voices inside of my head, but there was a clattering sound followed by a shattering sound and another ear piercing scream.

“Please no, please.” the same person whimpered again. This time I stood up and quietly walked over to the place where I thought I heard it coming from, the hall. I kept on walking, making sure I made no sound.

“I have a family, please.”

My eyes grew wider if that was even possible, watching the scene in front of me, mouth slightly agape.

Harry stood with his back against the wall for support, his face nuzzled in the woman’s neck, obviously because he was feeding. The woman was leaning with all her weight on Harry, she looked weak and by the looks of it she was getting weaker with the second. I had to do something but I couldn’t, I was frozen to the spot.

Harry retreated his fangs and pushed the woman off, letting her fall to the floor. For a mere moment I thought she was dead, but her heavy breathing told me otherwise. A wicked grin fell upon Harry’s face as he knelt down next to the woman.

“Such a shame..” he trailed and with that he took her head in both hands and snapped her neck. I gasped covering my mouth with my hands, but it was too late. Harry’s head snapped up and he saw me, with the same wicked grin he stood up and made his way over to me.

“Such a shame..” he said again as he trailed his hand across my cheek and took my head in his hands. I knew what was going to happen, but for some reason I couldn’t move, I couldn’t think, I couldn’t speak, I couldn’t do anything. I felt him putting more pressure on my head and everything went black, everything went silent.

I jolted up, eyes wide and heart beating so fast it was about to jump out of my ribcage. I took in my surroundings and saw that I was on the familiar couch in the living room. I let out a deep sigh and let myself fall down on the couch again, closing my eyes in the process.

An ear piercing scream made me jump up again, it sounded oddly familiar. I sat up and that’s when it clicked, I had dreamt about this. Wasting no time I sped off to the hallway, hearing multiple pleas from the woman on the way.

I stopped on the same spot I had stood on in the dream. Instead of taking in the same sight as in my dream, I saw Harry backing the woman up against the wall, bumping into the small table with a vase on it in the process, making it fall on the floor and shattering in many pieces.

The woman tried to squirm out of his hold, but he held her pinned against the wall. I stepped forward and that’s when the woman’s eyes met mine, her eyes were silently pleading me to help her and that’s what I was going to do, I wasn’t just going to watch the scene unfold in front of me as in my dream.

“Harry..” I spoke softly, not wanting to make him mad and make him still snap the woman’s neck. He heard me and looked at me over his shoulder.

“Leave.” he demanded not bothering to look at me, instead his eyes were fixed on the woman in front of him.

“Take my blood instead of hers,” I said silently as I was watching him intently, taking a step closer to them. “please.” I added quietly.

“Stay here, do not move.” he told the woman and let her go, to my surprise the woman did as she was told and stayed put. Harry turned around and faced me. “you know I can’t drink you blood, it has vervain in it.”
