Courtney Grey has gone through a lot in her life. Her father had left her and her sister; her mother had been basically non existent in her life. From the moment she was born, the girl was doomed to live a difficult life with lots of hurdles that scraped her knees, blood dripping onto the floor. She had hoped that all of her issues would fade away once she started her dream job. Maybe she could have an easy and peaceful life, but she was so very wrong. Seattle Grace hospital isn't just any hospital. There's more drama than you can count on your hands. However, with some bumps and bruises, Courtney has made it through her intern year!
She was almost blown into small little pieces when a bomb exploded in the hospital, but she survived. She found out that her father had started a whole new family without even thinking twice about her and her sister, Meredith, but she survived. Well, she survived, but not without some yelling, punching the demons in their faces and a couple of harsh words here and there. She grabbed every chance she got to make sure that a certain attending, who had hurt her sister, got what he deserved. She almost lost her job after helping her friend steal a heart, but survived after almost pushing out everyone that cared about her. She almost lost her sister, after she drowned, but she survived.
Most importantly, Courtney Grey figured out that she couldn't do everything on her own. Oh, and let's not forget that she might have almost kissed Mark Sloan! But that doesn't mean anything, right?
So, now, after being away from the hospital for about two weeks, Courtney is back! Not only is she back with enough sleep in her system, but she is now a resident. She gets to have her own interns to boss around. As if that isn't hard enough, her half sister, Lexie, is one of the new interns and tries to become closer with both of her sisters. And to top it all of, Courtney finally realizes that Mark means more than she originally thought. Apparently, they're not just friends.
Oh god, what a mess is this going to be!
