Sullivan's Point of View:

Today was only my second day of school, and it felt like years. There were already unbearable complications that I didn't know the solutions to- it was a bummer. I was sat at my mirror, catching my hair up into a bun to finish everything off. I had already put on my outfit that consisted of shorts and a muscle tee. Being as lazy as I am, I wore the same shoes as yesterday and decided to wear minimal makeup.

"Come on already!" Ada screamed from downstairs, though I ignored her since I was practically finished. My father began work this week, and he was going to be away for half of the day. I skipped downstairs and out the door behind her- deciding to skip breakfast since I usually only got hungry just when lunch began.

We both kept silent as we walked down the road, kicking rocks out of boredom.

"You liking school so far?" Ada piped up, turning to look at me for a split second before fixing her attention back in front of her. I groaned as a response, and she understood.

My phone buzzed in my pocket, and I checked the notification.

hope you have a good day, love bug :-)

my father texted, and I smiled, hoping for the same thing. I put the phone back in my pocket as we reached the accessible gates. As usual, Ada went off with the same group of guys and I went inside to put my things away. I got a bit intimidated when I saw a few kids standing near my locker, engulfed in conversations. I looked through the crowd, and Luke was the source. He looked me right in the eye and winked, soon telling his friends he would meet them later.

I quickly unzipped my bag and shoved everything inside the compact space as he approached me, leaning on the area Calum did yesterday.

"Hey new girl." he marveled, smiling widely making his dimples prominent.

I ignored him and continued sorting things out, obviously trying my hardest to seem busy- though I hate to admit, failed deeply. Luke laughed and rolled over, now resting his back on the locker, looking forward.

I covered my face with the locker door and took a deep breath, trying to settle down.

"I know you couldn't ignore me if you tried, Sully." he retorted, as I peeked my head back out, my eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

He looked back over to me and smiled, "I know you want to talk to me, but Cal won't let you."

I rolled my eyes and shut the door, standing tall. He was trying to break through me, trying to make me fall into him and release 'feelings' I didn't really feel. I played with my bottom lip and pouted,

"You know what Luke, I like you." I admitting, pointing in his direction.

He chuckled and stood on his feet, hovering above me. "Oh hun, I know."

He soon walked off, strutting confidently away from me. I shook my head in disbelief and the bell rung making me quickly walk off to my first class.

I sat in my seat, seeing Calum and others already in their places. I looked over to Calum and he returned the gaze, smiling and waving in my direction. I took a deep breath and faced the front, slumping down in my chair. He actually forgave me.

three hours later

Just as I said earlier, my stomach grumbled though I was already in the canteen line. I picked out a few foods I wanted and paid the price, walking over to my two friends who were patiently waiting for my arrival. I sat down between the boys and quietly ate.

Even though they are my friends, I'm still somewhat mute- though when I open up, I never shut up.

"Hey, speak or get out." Michael said, jokingly. I giggled and looked down at my lap, feeling a random blush creep up on my cheeks.

"What's up?" Calum asked, playfully nudging my shoulder, trying to get me to crack.

I gave him a small hug, and he chuckled, hugging me back tighter.

"Missed me that much within' a day?" I nodded my head and he laughed again, before releasing me.

"You guys should come over later, my parents aren't going to be home." Michael suggested and Calum almost immediately accepted. I wasn't completely fond to the idea, and I knew my father wasn't going to be either. But hey, what's the worst they could do.

I agreed also, and they both smiled, "It's a plan."

"What are we even going to do?" I asked, after I took a few small bites out of my turkey sandwich.

"I don't know. Maybe eat some pizza and watch movies."  Michael blurted, still unsure.

I shrugged and continued eating, as we changed the subject and spoke about random gossip spreading around.

-

Calum, Michael and I each arrived to the house after school, and we each walked inside freely, since the door was unlocked. Michael hollered out for his parents, but got no reply.

"Yup, we're alone." he reassured before dropping his bag on the ground and walking over to the kitchen. Calum took my bag and neatly placed it in a corner before joining me on the couch.

"What do you wanna watch?" he asked, as he knelt on the ground near the stack of DVDs. I sat beside him and skimmed through the pile, slipping out a specific case.

"This." I said, and showed it to him. He groaned and shook his head.

"Why would you wanna watch The Perks of Being A Wallflower?" he complained, continuing to search for a better movie.

"Because it was a great book." I defend, and he laughed.

"Doesn't mean the movie is any better. Some things are better off being a novel."

He was right- Percy Jackson was a great book, but the movie was 100% shit.

He slipped out another case and showed it to me, asking for my approval. I nodded my head and he hollered out a 'yes'. He picked Scary Movie 5, and it was actually the only one I haven't seen yet.

Michael soon arrived with bowls and cups in each hand, struggling to walk without bumping into pieces of furniture.

"A little help here." he groaned, peeking over the overflowing bowl of popcorn. I stood and removed a few cups out of his hands, and set it on the coffee table in front of the couch as Calum remained seated on the ground.

"What did you pick to watch?" he questioned as he gathered all of the snacks.

"Scary Movie 5." I stated, just as the bell rung. I looked over to Michael, and he looked and me and flashed a wide smile, showing all teeth.

I can't believe he wants me to answer the door of his house.

I stood and walked over to the door, turned the knob and opened it.

My eyes widened at the view in front of me. What was Luke doing here?
