Kaylee's POV
When I see my dad, I feel nauseas and turn away. 'Maybe he hasn't seen me yet.' I think to myself.
"Hello Kaylee."
SHIT! What should I do. Just pretend I didn't hear him? I turn my music up louder and look out the window. I don't text Hayes because I don't want him to worry.
Luckily, my dad doesn't bother me or take to me for the rest of the ride.
*at hotel*
I think my dad is following me because there is a blue car that has been behind me since the airport. I open my door and grab my bag. I walk into the hotel. Since there are a lot of people here, hopefully my dad won't do anything to me.
I feel someone touch my shoulder and I felt something like a gun on my back. OH MY GOD! He is going to kill me. I start to cry and he leads me outside into an alley next to the hotel.
"Why?" I ask him and cry.
"Ever since you were born and your mom and I got divorced, I've had to pay child care for you. If you die, I won't have to pay anymore."
I see a sick smile on his face and feel as harp pain in my stomach. Everything goes black.
Emily's POV
~2 days later~
It is 8 in the morning and I am in Cameron's room. He is still sleeping so I turn on the TV. The news automatically turns on.

I am shock for a minute and don't know what to do. I finally start crying my eyes out.
Cameron's POV
I wake up and hear Emily crying.
"Oh my god. What's wrong? Are you hurt?"
"Kaylee... Shot...coma.." she says in between sobs.
"Oh my god." Is all I can manage to say.
Hayes comes running in. He has a connecting room so he must have heard Emily.
"What's wrong?" He asks.
He looks from me to Emily waiting for an explanation. I get tears in my eyes. I love Hayes like a brother and I know he will be really upset about this.
"It's about Kaylee." I say.
"Is she okay? What happened?"
"She was shot a couple of days ago and is in a coma."
"What?! This is all my fault. I never should've let her go alone. Especially after what happened the other day."
Emily's POV
"What?! This is all my fault. I never should've let her go alone. Especially after what happened the other day." Hayes says.
I manage to stop crying.
"What happened the other day?" I ask.
"We went out for ice cream and her dad was there. I told him to leave or I would call the cops and he told her that they would finish their conversation a different time."
Oh my god. Her dad shot her. He has always been an ass and he never lived her or anything but I never though that he would try to kill his own daughter.
*next day*
Hayes POV
Emily, Cameron, me, and Nash got on a plane to Ohio. We didn't want to cancel Magcon for all of our fans so we just decided that we would go to the hospital for her and the rest of the guys are going to do Magcon for this stop.
When we get to the hospital, they let us see her but they said she isn't awake yet.
When we walk into the room, I run up to her bed. Her mom is sitting next to her and she leaves the room so we can have some time with her.
Emily starts to cry and Cameron hugs her.
"Guys, can I have a minute with her?"
Cameron, Emily, and Nash walk out and I am left alone with her.
I hold her hand and start talking to her even though I know she can't hear me.
"Kaylee I am so sorry that I wasn't here to protect you. I would trade places with you in a minute if that means you could be safe. Please wake up."
I feel her hand move and her eyes open.
"Your awake! NURSE!!" I scream.
"I missed you." Kaylee says.
"I missed you too."
The nurse walks in and she tells Kaylee that she can get out in 2 days. The nurse leaves and everyone walks back in.
"What happened? Who did this to you?" Emily asks.
"My dad grab me when I got to the hotel and he told me that if I was dead, he wouldn't have to pay child care for me anymore and then everything just went black." She starts crying.
Emily's POV
"I'm going to fricken kill him." I say to everyone in the hospital room.
"I highly doubt you will have the guts to do that." Kaylee tells me.
"Oh no she has the guts. You should've seen her slap Jamie the other day." Cameron replies.
I start to blush and I playfully punch Cameron in the shoulder.
"What?! My shy cousin, Emily Piscitelli, slapped someone?!"
"Long story. I will explain it later. but she deserved it." I start laughing.
*2 days later*
Kaylees POV
I get out if the hospital today and we are meeting everyone at Myrtle Beach. I am not going on tour anymore and I am just going to go with Magcon.
The police are questioning me today and then we are leaving for Myrtle Beach. Sam is still going on tour, just not with me.
