Despite centuries of criticism and rejection, the Bible has withstood the tests of time, change, innovation, and discovery. The Word of God, given to man through divine insight, has been broken down and nitpicked for decades. Today, the majority of people have placed God's infallible Word and modern day science at two opposing ends of a theological spectrum. They see the choice between faith and facts as a definitively split line, and will take one side over the other. The truth however, is that the Scriptures and science coincide together. They don't challenge each other at all, as most people erroneously believe. In actuality, science supports the Bible, and the Bible answers some scientific questions, such as where the universe originated, how life as we know it came into being, and what the true purpose of human life is. Richard Wurmbrand, a Christian minister and prolific author, once wrote in his book Proofs of God's Existence,

"In antiquity and in what is called the Dark Ages, men did not know what they now know about humanity and the cosmos. They did not know the lock [science], but they possessed the key, which is God. Now many have excellent descriptions of the lock, but they have lost the key. The proper solution is union between religion and science. We should be owners of the lock and the key. The fact is that as science advances, it discovers what was said thousands of years ago in the Bible."

This is undoubtedly the case, and as scientists make more discoveries in the future, it is apparent that the Word of the Living God will continue to hold true time and time again, as it has done for thousands of years.
