"Here, it is the HM fly." The middle aged woman said to the blue haired trainer. "Only Certain Pokemon can learn it... And it can not be forgotten.. But--"

"I already know what HM's can do! I had to use one, surf, to even get to this island!!" Kris snapped at the Gym Leader's wife before letting out a small cough. "Thank you.." With that she hurried away across the beach, her Pokeball color schemed shoes kicking up the white sand with each step.

Finally the magenta roofed building came into view, the word 'Poké' printed on the side of the brick building. Quickly she rushed inside and to the large computer like machine in the back. Glancing around to see that only nurse Joy stood behind her desk like usual, Kris flipped on the PC.

A white line zoomed across, opening up to show all the pokemon she has captured. The pro-capturing trainer hummed to herself in frustration when she realized her only flying types were Hoothoot, pidgey and Spearow. Sighing heavily, she withdrew all three of them and walked out into the beach-town of Cianwood.

She let out all three of them and whipped out her pokedex, "All three of them can learn fly?! Th-that's not-- oh whatever... I guess all of you will learn the HM!" She closed the pokedex and quickly taught each of the birds 'Fly' with her HM, "Now... Lets fly to Olivine City!" The young trainer declared, looking at her first flyer, pidgey and returned the other two.

The pokemon tweeted softly before grabbing Kris' wrist and flapping up. At 0.012343 miles per hour the small pidgeon pokemon flapped its heart out, though Kris curled up her legs while the ocean jumped out at her, "You know, maybe I will just have Azurmarill use surf, that would be faster--"

"PIDGEY!" The pokmeon exclaimed, obviously determined to keep flying.

The trainer averted her blue tinted eyes, "Okay then..."

*12 minutes of flying later*

"C-Could you go a tad faster? I can still see Cianwood from here..." Kris murmured to her majorly exasperated Pidgey. Though soon the small birds heart just burst, "AAAHHHH!" Kris screamed as her and her pokemon plunged into the ocean, to quickly realize it was just less than a foot away. Using her swimming skills, the trainer grabbed the pokemon's feathery body and paddled over to a near by rock.

She checked for its vitals and went pale.

Quickly she released its corpse and let out her spearow, "So... TO OLIVINE!" She laughed to the nerve racked pokemon.

*4 hour later*

The trainers toe tapped the stone pavement of the port city and smiled up at her Spearow, "Good job! It may have been less than a mile and took four hours but good---" As Kris congratulated to bird that never backs down, it just dropped down from the sky and into the hard cement from fatigue. Though its fall onto the hard ground snapped its neck- its heart was about to go like Pidgey's did anyways.

The trainer's eye twitched slightly before smiling again, "I think I should pick up some money from Moms in Newbark Town!" She chimed, "Now it is hoothoot's--"

The pokeball on her belt began to tremor, before shattering open. The brown feathered Hoothoot blinked in fear before flying off into the sky with no fatass trainer pulling it down, "WAIT! I NEED TO GET HOME!" Kris shouted, though the owl pokemon was far gone at that point.

A/N: So-- This is why we don't let the small pokemon learn Fly... It kills them... Stop this pokemon abuse today... And teach it to a bigger bird or something! Or at least evolve the pokemon! For dear sake!
