BUBBLES OF FURY!

WTF Moment: Onix can get KO'd by the teeny Water-type move: Bubble

(Dawn's POV)

"Onix, use Bind!" Roark commanded, pointing a finger in my direction.

I watched in horror as Roark's Onix used Bind on my Shinx, knocking it out almost instantly. Well great...now what?

"THE ROUND GOES TO THE LEADER, ROARK!" The referee announced, blowing his whistle.

"Hah!" Roark laughed. "Silly girl, you can't possibly defeat my gigantic rock snake! It's just not possible!" He scoffed, putting his hands on his hips.

I just rolled my eyes at his arrogance. Well, here it is... My last Pokemon... I unclipped my Starter's Pokeball from my belt, releasing Piplup onto the battle field. I then returned Shinx to his Pokeball, clipping it back onto my belt.

"LET THE FINAL ROUND BEGIN!" The referee blew into his whistle, giving us the signal to resume our battle.

"Onix, use Rock Tomb!" Roark gave the order in a proud manner, feeling pretty cocky at the moment.

"DODGE IT---" I was quickly cut off by the sound of huge boulders falling from the ceiling and piling ontop of Piplup, making a loud crashing noise. "PIPLUP!" I shrieked, hoping my Pokemon was ok.

Piplup miraculously dug his way out of the rock pile without a scratch on him; the attack wasn't very effective.

"...what." Roark dropped his jaw, just staring at Piplup.

Onix has full HP and isn't tired in the least, so this should be interesting. "Piplup, use Bubble!" I commanded my Water-starter, wearing a proud look on my face.

Piplup sucked in a breath of air, processed it, and held it in for a minute. He then shot one teensy weensy bubble at Onix at an incredibly slow speed, and I watched as it popped on the surface of Onix's rock body.

Pop!

...

BAM!

"THE MATCH GOES TO THE CHALLENGER, DAWN!"

"OH COME ON! YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!"
