“I can't believe you talked me into coming to a night club.” Bea said to Payton, her heals clicking along the sidewalk. They could both hear the vibrations of the bass coming from inside the building, fueling their need to dance.
“You were holed up in the apartment B, I thought you were actually going to die of not enough sunlight.” Payton responded, finding her friends whining, amusing. He knew this could be good for Bea. Bea simply as too stubborn to admit this could be fun.
“You do know its night time, right Pay? Your argument is invalid.”
“Says the vampire.” By this time, they were close to the club, a newly opened establishment, cleverly named Amore Sombre, meaning Dark Love in French. Holding up to its namesake, the club was dark and mysterious, playing with each shadow painted onto the building.
Payton hooked arms with Bea and pulled her along to the front of the line, ignoring the whispers and angry shouts. The bouncer, an angry and burly looking man, stood at the front of the line, judging everyone, behind a pretty little, red rope. He stood with his arms crossed and his eyebrows raised, amused by Payton's outlandish behavior.
“It's a nice night tonight.” She casually announced, her eyes turned skyward. The bouncer, Max, simply grunted in return, not allowing his eyes off the raven haired woman standing in front of him. Bea pulled on Payton’s arm, wishing for her friend to get the memo, which clearly read, they weren't getting into this club.
“Isn't this a nice outfit?” Payton ignored her best friend, and willed the burly man to follow her suggestion. When she saw his eyes skim her curves in the gorgeous outfit she had managed to score in a clearance bin. She almost smirked at the thought of getting her way.
“It is a very nice outfit Miss.” The door keeps voice came out hurriedly, like he was trying to say the words before he got caught.
“We wouldn't want it to go to waste right?” The words spilled out in a purr, a tone Payton had mastered for these kinds of things. The kinds of things where she wanted things to go her way.
“The clubs full. But I suppose I could make an exception.” Max couldn't believe what he was saying until the woman in front of him, had a gorgeous grin painted across her face. That almost made what he was doing a little bit better as he lifted the ridiculous rope and let the two birds inside the club. His ass probably belonged to his bosses now.
Inside the Club
Harry watched from his perch in the VIP room as the two girls flirted their way into his new club. He found it amusing that Max fell prey so easily. Words would be said later tonight to both guilty parties. The club was thick with fog so he couldn't make out the girls' faces clearly but he knew one of them was wearing a red shirt, her long hair curled in spirals down her back. She interest him, trapped him in a curious web.
Harry tapped the man standing beside him in the side, his long-time friends' face becoming that all too famous, serious expression. They both watched as the two birds swayed into their club and into the crowd.
“Keep an eye on them. Something tells me trouble will be cause tonight. They just might have something to do with it.” Liam spoke swiftly, turning on his heal and leaving the open balcony.
Bea's POV
“Why would you do that Pay? We could have waited in line.” I screeched into her ear as we walked through the club. The music was loud and it sent vibrations through my chest.
“What,” She replied innocently, “it got us in, didn't it?” Payton had threatened to knock my door down if I didn't come out dressed and ready to go. She also threatened my favorite season 2 Criminal Minds disc, if I didn't wear the outfit she approved before I kicked her out. A white, long sleeved button up shirt, tucked into a black, leather, loose skirt that landed just above my knee. The only thing right about this outfit was the suspenders she allowed me to attach and pull over my shoulders. But I had to wear the red stilettos, which we dangerously tall and brought my normal 5'4 frame to a towering 5'9.
