"Saff... Sophie! How was your first day at school sweetheart?" Lilyanna asked me at 2:30 this afternoon when school had finished.
"It went great! Come me a meet my new friends!" I led her over to where Sofia, Charlotte and Lyrah were standing giggling. "Lyrah! This is Lilly my... Mum! Mum, this is Lyrah, Sofia and Charlotte! They're my new friends."
"Hello girls, a pleasure to meet you." Lilyanna said to them.
"When are you free Sophe? We're trying to plan a play date." Sofia asked.
"I dont know," I replied. " It's up to mum, I guess."
The girls looked up at Lilyanna expectantly. Lilyanna looked at her watch and said, "I have to go, sorry girls but I'll have a look at some dates we're free and Sophie can tell you tomorrow."
The girls looked disappointed but they waved us goodbye anyway. We got home and I raced up the stairs to take off my school uniform and tell Miranda and Caroline and all my sisters about what a fabulous day I had.
Racing up the last flight of stairs when I hear, "Saffire Cahrlotte Peterborough Aitkens! No running inside the house!" Caroline shouted from below me. From the bedroom where my sisters were doing their lessons I hear giggles and some strange roars from their grifes. Griffens! "I am not happy about you going to this common school and it looks like it's having a bad influence on you."
"Oh no, not at all. I've had more fun today than what I've ever had in my entire life time!" I told her, hurrying down so I was closer.
"Fun?" Caroline asked.
"Oh, yes! I've had an absolutely marvellous time at school and I've made three new friends! Sofia, Charlotte and Lyrah! We're even planning a play date! When am I free?" I asked her jumping up and down with excitement.
"You aren't, I new this would be a bad influence on her. And now I have proof. You are not going going to that common school tomorrow," Miranda chided.
I looked at her in shock and then ran to my room where I am still crying half an hour later. How will I get to ever be normal? When will I ever make friends in the real world? I'm sad and upset and angry with Miranda. She said I could go and she broke her promise. Maybe I'll just sneak out of the house and never return! That would be the best thing ever! As long as Lilyanna would come too.I hate being at home with my horrible family.
