Harray! It today is the final day in my lonely prison. I am so happy I could cry out to the world, but I know that if I do that I'll have to stay in here for even longer!
Kari and I have been training really hard these past few weeks, to make sure she's ready for the outside world, and not just my confined bedroom.
"Today is our last day in solitary confinement," came the humorous growl of Karina, stopping my daydream.
"Yes, and I just know that you'll have a great time in the open world, Kari. But what will happen if my friends find out about you? Or even worse... My family!" I asked.
"If your mothers find out they would probably try and separate us for 1 month," she replied
I gulped, "what happens after a month away from your Sa?" I asked, not really wanting to know the answer.
"They are separated, then the Sa will come for it's partner. Not that I would be able to stop myself, it is instinct. No one knows why it happens... It just. Does." She relied, looking terrified.
"And what if my sisters found out?" I asked, thinking it had to be worse.
"They would probably just kill me." She said plainly and simply.
I shook my head in disbelief, I was sure even they wouldn't be that nasty as to kill my Sa. "What if my friends found out about you?" I asked trying to stop us both thinking about Karina dying.
"That is hard to say, my dear Saffire Charlotte. Most common people are proud if their friends get a Sa. But it is hard to say exactly," she replied.
We remained in silence a little longer, then I asked, "Hey Kari?"
"Yes Saffire?" She replied.
"Could I at least tell Lilyanna?" I asked biting the bottom of my lip in anxiety.
"I cannot say, my child. But it is likely she would be forced to tell your mothers if they grew suspicious. Still, I would have to meet Lilyanna before I make judgements like that." She replied.
"If you want i could call her here. Then you could crouch under my bed and assess her." I asked, hope rising and falling as I saw Karina's anxious face.
After a long whole a growl replied, "Ok, Saffire. Call in Lilyanna."
