"So, if we can get him angry we can get his wolf out of passive mode. If we can do that during breakfast Miranda and Caroline can see for themselves," Karina planned strategically.
"But how can we get him angry at breakfast?" I asked, thinking aloud.
"Welllll... I guess we could make the chair collapse underneath him some how, I'm sure that would make him very angry," She replied anxiously.
I nodded, "But how do we make a chair collapse at our will?" I asked.
She thought for a second, "Bingo! We could cut one of the legs!"
"Of course! He would get angry when his chair falls, he'll release Ash the wolf and then I'll release you then all we have to do is defeat him!" I cried excitedly.
It was a brilliant plan, but Karina looked worried. "What about your family?" She asked.
I hadn't thought of that. They would find out about Karina and then what? Would they hurt her? Would they separate us? All these doubts of our strategic plan flew around my head.
I knew what had to be done,"Maybe. But if you save their life. They would hopefully be grateful and gracious. Then they would probably worship you," I tried to console her by wrapping my arms around her neck in a hearty embrace. "We can so do this Kari!"
I put her to passive mode and she disappeared. I then tip- toed down the stairs to cut the leg off the chair. I chose one that couldn't be seen when you walked into the dining room. Then I cut it with one of the kitchen knives I'd snuggled upstairs last night.
My plan was going well so far now we were up to phase 2- Breakfast Time...
