So the idea in this chapter is what I wrote ages ago as a storyline for a book which I ended up never writing so enjoy

It had been two weeks since Emma was ill and she is now fully recovered. Jac and Zosia had booked the Saturday off from work and they had found an open day at the local Orphanage. They had told Emma that they were going to see some people but they weren't sure if she fully understood.

"Morning beautiful" Zosia smiled as she rolled over to her partner, Jac smiled kissed Zosia, Zosia kissed back, they were both looking forward to hopefully finding the right child for them, the right one who would fit into their family, it would be Jac, Zosia, Emma and their adopted daughter or son.

"Are you ready for today?" Jac asked Zosia, she simply nodded, rolled over again and got out of bed.

"You get dressed I'll start on breakfast" Zosia smiled wrapping her dressings gown around her so she didn't get to cold.

"I won't be too long" Jac smiled pushing herself into a sitting position stretching as Zosia left the bedroom, she went to Emma's room and saw the young girl playing with her toys

"Good morning little one" Zosia smiled once again, Emma jumped up with her teddy and went to give Zosia a hug.

"Morning mummy Zosia" Emma smiled, Zosia lifted the three year old onto her hip and kissed her forehead to take her downstairs for breakfast, Zosia placed Emma onto the floor and she began playing with her pig teddy. Zosia got a frying pan from the cupboard and placed it on the stove, she was going to make omelettes,the three of them loved omelette Emma had a small cheese and ham omelette while Zosia made herself and Jac a cheese, spinach, ham and mushroom omelette.

"Something smells lovely" Zosia heard Jac's voice speaks from the doorway to the kitchen, she turned around and placed two plates on the table since Emma was already eating her own.

"Omelette Zoshlett" Zosia laughed making up a name for her home made omelette, Jac rolled her eyes.

"You are really not normal Zosh" Jac laughed teasing the brunette girl

"Thanks you so much ice queen" Zosia teased Jac in return, that's one thing the couple could do, they could tease each other and know they don't even mean any of it. The couple ate and spoke before Zosia went to get dressed and Jac dressed Emma. An hour later at about 10am the family left the home for the half an hour drive to the orphanage open day.

(I don't speak polish so I'm relying on google translate for the up and coming sentence)

At the orphanage Polish twin sister Ruby-Isla and Martha were sat in the room they shared, it was the orphanages open day but Martha knew their mother would be back for them, even if it had been months.

"Martha jesteście pewni, że mama będzie dla nas powrotem?" Martha are you sure mummy will be back for us? Ruby asked her older twin sister, Ruby knew their parents didn't want them that's why they their mum left them but Martha believed that their mum was going to come back and get them.

"Yes Ruby, do you really believe mum would just leave us here?" Martha questioned her younger twin sister, Martha spoke mostly in English even when answering her twin,

"Mar, słyszałeś jej myśl, powiedziała, że nas nie chce, zanim opuści nas siedem miesięcy temu! Gdyby nam się podobało, że teraz wróci" Mar, you heard her thought, she said she didn't want us before she left us seven months ago! If he wanted us she would have been back by now Ruby rolled her eyes as their bedroom door is pushed open and in toddled Skylee-Filipa the youngest child in the orphanage she had been i the orphanage since she was one and half, her parents were in a car accident while on holiday from Poland, they were visiting their family.

"rano Skylee, dobrze?"  Morning Skylee, are you Okay? Ruby asked the toddler. Skylee giggled and went over to hug Ruby, Ruby and Martha had taken Skylee under their 'wings' and their like big sisters to the toddler.

"dobry" me good Skylee giggled sitting on Ruby's knee.

"Martha! Ruby, can you get yourself and Skylee downstairs" Ally the head of the orphanage called up the stairs Ruby stood up carrying the toddler while Martha looked towards her twin and her little sister Skylee

"Możemy spróbować i zostać adoptowanym ze Skylee, teraz jest naszą siostrą i nie możemy jej zostawić?" Can we try and get adopted with Skylee, she's our little sister now and we can't leave her behind Ruby asked Martha

"No Ruby! Ally won't allow that, she's not our blood sister!" Martha rolled her eyes at her twin, Martha didn't want a new family but she knew Ruby did and she knew Ruby loved Skylee. Downstairs at the the orphanage family's were waiting around, Ally was talking to Jac and Zosia after calling Ruby and Martha

"Their you girls are, we have a family here who I thought you'd be suitable for" Ally smiled to the three girls, Skylee was still on Ruby's hip.

"Jac, Zosia this is Ruby, Martha and Skylee. Ruby and Martha are twins and they took Skylee under their wings, Skylee doesn't fully understand English and Ruby only speaks in Polish but she does understand English, she struggles to talk English we believe" Ally explained to the couple and their daughter, Skylee hid her head into Ruby's shoulder anxious about meeting the couple.

"I'm sorry to tell you this Ally but we don't want adopting, our mum will come back for us" Martha

"Dlaczego musisz to zrobić! Zawsze zabierasz każdą okazję, którą otrzymamy, aby zostać adoptowanym lub wzbogaconym" Why do you have to do this! You always take away any opportunity we get to be adopted or fostered Ruby shouts in polish, she walks to the stairs and sits on the stairs hugging Skylee, it was just the start of a long day where anything could happen.

"Martha we've been over this so many times, she's not coming back" Ally explained to the 13 year old..
