"Some days I am more wolf than human and i'm still learning to apologize for my wild."

Elijah returned home to find a puddle of blood on the floor of the courtyard. When he examined the puddle, he saw a trail of paw prints that eventually turn into human footprints that lead to a dead woman's body, propped up against the fountain. More footprints lead Elijah to the bathroom, where Malia is taking a bubble bath. Another body is propped up against the wall next to the tub.

"Come to check up on me?" I asked, leaning my head back, my eyes closed, sensing Elijah.

"You've had an eventful evening."

"I was having a crappy day, but Klaus being amazing, took me out to the Cauldron. Wouldn't you know, we ran into some witches." I looked over at him, opening my eyes.

"So, would you like me to remove your leftovers?" He spoke sarcastically, stepping over the body and into the bathroom.

I rolled my eyes before standing up in the tub, naked and covered in bubbles. "Don't just stand there, hand me a towel." Elijah, unamused, reached for a towel and handed it to me.

"Oh, don't judge, Elijah! What I did is no worse than anything else I have ever done," I stated, wrapping the towel around myself. "I'm a hybrid now. I need food and Klaus gave it to me. What's the big deal?" I walked away from him and into my room.

Elsewhere in the compound, Elijah went to talk to Klaus about Malia. "You took her on a witch hunt!?"

"I simply wanted to persuade those witches to locate the white oak stake for me. When they proved unable to do so, I let Malia have her fun." Klaus grinned, reading a book.

"She grows more savage by the day! Can you not see that she is falling apart?" Elijah retorted.

"Perhaps the problem is your high standards? Malia is one of us now. Being a vampire only exaggerates what you truly are, and coyotes are wild things. She knows she can never live up to the pretty little picture you of anyone else paint of her in their heads. Your judgment only hurts her more," Klaus explained to his brother, knowing what was best for his little red.

"I am trying to help her, and I asked you to help her, brother."

Klaus angrily rose to his feet. "I am helping! You should have seen her last night! Covered in witches' blood and smiling from ear to ear! She is embracing this. A little less criticism from you and Hayley, and Malia will be just fine!"
