Julian invited Caitlin over to his apartment so he can wine and dine her. She was very punctual and arrived on time, something that he really liked about her. Caitlin knocked on his door. When Julian opened it, his breath got caught. She had on a strapless black dress that went down to her thighs and showed off minimal cleavage. "Caitlin you look absolutely stunning; as with every time I lay eyes on you." Julian said, looking at her in awe. Caitlin breathed, smiling brightly at him. "Thank you, Julian. That's very sweet. You're very sweet." Julian stepped aside, allowing her to enter his apartment.

"Let me help you with that." Julian softly said, reaching for her shoulders to get her out her jacket. He hung up her belongings then led her into his kitchen where he had prepared their favorite meal: A filet steak with mashed potatoes on the side and a bit of béarnaise. Caitlin smiled widely at Julian, very impressed with the effort he put into their dinner. "Julian this looks amazing." He pulled out her chair for her and motioned for her to take a seat. "An amazing meal, for an amazing woman." Caitlin could not have stopped the blush that worked its way to her cheeks along with the butterflies that swelled up in her stomach. They ate their meal, with conversations about their work and families. Julian casually reached across the table and intertwined their fingers together leaving Caitlin flustered. They soon finished their delicious meal but stayed seated at the table, engaged in conversation.

"I used to be bullied by bigger kids who thought I was an idiot for choosing science over wealth." Julian said, thinking back to those days in London. "My sister Emma was the only one who stood up for me. The only one who supported me. The only one who understood my passion for science." He looked away, his eyes watery. Caitlin softly squeezed his hand. "Its okay Julian. You don't have to be strong for me." He smiled, chuckling a bit. "Emma used to say the same thing to me." He looked up to her eyes. "She would've loved you." Caitlin smiled softly at him as he lifted their hands and placed a kiss to her knuckles. "There's something I want to show you." Julian said, gently tugging her hand and guiding her into his living room. He let go of her hand and reached into a closet where a box lay. They sat on the couch and Julian opened the box. Inside were pictures and family sentiments.

"This is me when I got my first bike." Julian said showing her the picture of him. He reached into the box again. "And.. this is me after I fell off of my bike." Caitlin bit her lip, trying not to laugh at the image of 5 year old Julian crying. Julian noticed her struggling and smirked at her. "Its okay to laugh. It wasn't funny at first but now its hilarious." She burst into laughter and Julian laughed along with her. She soon stopped laughing when an image caught her eye. "Awwww!" She said reaching for the picture. It was an image of baby Julian naked in the sink. Julian gently, but quickly took the picture out of her hand. "I..I, uh. I meant to burn that." Julian said blushing severely and looking away from her.

She reached for his chin, gently forcing him to face her. He finally met her eyes. He leaned in and kissed her softly, caressing her cheek. Caitlin held his hand to her face, locking their lips more firmly. They pulled away when the need for air became necessary. "Caitlin, I love you." Julian told her, gazing lovingly into her eyes. "I love you, Julian." Caitlin said, gazing at him with an equal amount of awe. Once again they leaned in and let the night run its course.
