Currently Draco and I were walking to some dueling shit Lockhart is teaching. "I bet a first year Hufflepuff could beat Lockhart at a duel," He whispered in my ear as we walked into the classroom. I laughed quietly and joined the group surrounding a long table Lockhart was standing on. He then went on to 'teach' us about disarming an opponent while in a duel. "If Snape wouldn't mind could he please assist me (I know that's not the dialogue. But my story, my dialogue). Worry not, you will still have your professor when I'm done with him," he said before smirking and winking toward Hermione. I rolled my eyes and watched as Snape got onto the table. The two men then went on to turn away from each other, take a few steps away, then turn towards each other.
The student's that surrounded the professor's laughed as Lockhart fell over and Snape successfully disarmed him. "Now Ms. Potter, Mr. Malfoy would you mind showing us how it's done," Snape said showing me a genuine smile, which surprised a few kids. Draco got on the table then grabbed my hand to help me up. "Now only disarm each other. Not that you'll listen. Your both too stubborn. I smirked toward Draco. "Scared Malfoy," I smiled. "Nope. Believe it or not you're not very intimidating," He smirked toward me. The duel started and just as Snape predicted we didn't stop at disarming. We continued to cast hexes, that obviously wouldn't hurt each other until Draco casted a spell that summoned a snake. The snake ddidn't look at me but instead slithered over to a Hufflepuff. I didn't want to because I know it would look misleading but I knew I had to. After ll the time I've spent hiding my ability to speak to snakes i had to use it. "Stop now," I said. The snake turned toward me nodded then curled up around my feet. Snape got rid of it, while the students look at me. Some scared, others confused. It was very quiet even the professors didn't say anything. "Well looky here. The wonderful Potter has yet another amazing talent. Parsel Tounge," Draco said in a joking tone. He then walked over to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "Well I t-think That's enough for today," Snape said slightly stuttering. Draco and I jumped off the table hand in hand and walked off toward dinner.
Draco and I entered the Great Hall and everyone went quiet. "Of course everyone's heard," I mumbled hiding my face in Draco's neck. Draco wrapped and arm around me protectively. We then went to sit in our usual spot.
I sat down and everyone around me, except Draco scooted away. I sighed and looked down. "I keep a snake from biting a Hufflepuff. But oh no, I'm a Slytherin so I must be evil," I say annoyed. Draco played with my hair before making me a plate. "Thanks," I said and leaned my head on Draco's shoulder. He simply gave me a sad smile before engulfing me in a hug. "Anyone who decides to stay away from you because of this is not worth it and honestly don't deserve to breathe the same air as you," He said sounding like he was trying not to yell. "Draco. Honey, I'm fine. I expected this. I'm Harry Potter's Slytherin sister. Before you know it people will forget I even exist," I said pulling out of the hug. I kept my head down throughout the dinner slowly eating my food.
I entered the common room getting dirtly looks from everyone. Annie got up and walked over to me. "(Y/N). What happened. Everyone's giving you wierd looks," she asked me quietly. "I'm a Sllytherin who saved a Hufflepuff by speaking parsel tounge. Her eyes widened. "That's actually really cool. The fact that people are actually giving you dirty looks because you saved a Hufflepuff is honestly quite idiotic. If anything they should be thanking you,"she said. she then turned and glared at all the people that gave me dirty looks. I smiled at her and headed up the stairs to the dorms before a hand grabbed my wrist. I turned to see Draco giving me puppy dog eyes. Everytime he gave me those eyes it meant he wanted something. "Yes Dragon," I asked looking up at him. he pulled me into a hug. "Can I sleep with you tonight. Please," he asked. "I was hoping that's what you were going to ask," I said honestly. Draco and I both walked up the stairs and into the room. I slipped my shoes off and socks. I then pulled off my robes. I walked to my wardrobe and grabbed a sleeping with sirens shirt. Then I quickly slipped my shirt off and switched it out. I pulled the annoying skirt I had to wear off and laid next to Draco. "Honey. You know you just changed in front of me," I looked at Draco and saw his face had a light pink tinge and his ears were a bright red. "Yes and I quite honestly don't care. Why? Does it get you all hot and bothered," I laughed. He hid his face in my pillow and I pulled the curtians around my bed shut. Draco took his shirt and pants off leaving him just in boxers. I smiled and pulled him into a short kiss. "I love you Doe," the dashing blond boy said. "I love you too Dragon," I smiled. Draco pulled me closer and i snuggled into him. Laying my head on his chest, I slowly fell into a comfortable sleep, knowing that as long as Draco was here I was loved.
