Not The Heir I Swear

~Chapter 6~

      I sat in the common room snuggled into Draco. Draco had wrapped me up in his arms and had a blanket covering us.

     "who do you thinks the heir?" he asked quietly.

     "Ginny," I said quietly.

     "What?" Draco's eyebrows furrowed together.

     "Why would you think that?" he asked.

     "She's been acting weird and distant toward everyone. And I caught her going to the library during class. She wrote Who is this in the book and it responded," I looked down. Being the girlfriend of a guy who's father is a deatheater you learn a lot.

     "Tom Riddle," I finished.

     "But how? Most of the death eaters think he's still dead," Draco looked down at me and pulled me closer.

     "He obviously is keeping himself alive using some sort of dark magic. this Christmas break bring back any book you think could be useful," I smiled sadly. 

      "Why can't we have a normal year," Draco groans.

      "We weren't meant to be normal Dragon," I sighed. I closed my eyes, letting sleep overtake me.

Draco's Pov (HOLY SHIT!)

      (Y/N) closed her eyes and a few seconds later soft snores left her slightly parted lips. I smiled and picked her up carefully. I walked up the stairs (Y/N) gripping my shirt in her sleep. I grabbed the handle to her dorm only to find it locked. I rolled my eyes and brought her back down the stairs and up the boys dorm. Father of course got me my own room. I opened the door setting (Y/N) down in the silky green sheets. I laid next to her and wrapped my arm around her.

"Goodnight (Y/N). I love you," I said into her ear.

~Le time skip (Y/N)'s pov~

       I woke in a bed that looked like my own but smelled of Draco. I smiled and pressed my face deeper into the pillow. Arms tightened slightly around my waist and pulled me close.

      "Good Morning Draco," I yawned.

      "Good morning sweetheart," he said in his husky morning voice.

     I turned toward Draco and wrapped my arms around his neck.

     "I wanna stay here forever," I said burying my face in his neck.

     "I know," he said sadly and kissed the top of my head. continued to kiss all over my face ending up on my lips. I smiled and my hands found his hair. Draco pulled away his grey eyes sparkled.

      "I love you so much you know that?" he smiled.

      "I love you too, pea-brain," I laughed.

     "And things like that are why I love you," he laughed.

     "Why aren't I in my dorm," I yawned. 

     Draco looked down. He obviously didn't want to tell me but I think I knew. 

     I looked down at the dark colored flooring. 

     "They didn't want me there?" I said quietly.

     Draco stood and hugged me. I didn't wrap my arms back around him. The rejection I felt made my body feel heavier than it actually was. Tears slipped down my cheeks.

     "I better get ready, breakfast starts soon," I said and walked in my dorm and grabbed all my stuff, shrinking it and putting it in my back pocket before putting on my robes. I entered the common room and saw Draco sitting on the couch waiting. I smiled and we walked into the great hall

       I sat down and ,as usual , everyone scooted away. I rolled my eyes and filled my plate and ate.

~time skip to after classes~

     I sat in the common room next to the fire. The warmth turning my face a light pink. My eyes started to droop before a creek from the portrait whole was heard. I turned and saw Draco walking with his head down so, I couldn't see his face.

     "Hey Draco," I said. I watched as he jumped slightly.

      "H-hi," he stuttered.

      "Are you alright?" I asked.

      "Y-yea I am," he said starting to walk up the stairs to his room. 

      I followed and when he shut his door I waited one second before re-opening it. Draco stood with a blood nose and bruises all over his face. 

      "Draco what happened!" I ran over to him tipping his head upward so the blood wouldn't get all over his face.

      "Nothing," he said quietly, his voice raspy.

      "Yeah sure nothing happened. Go lay down," I told him. He laid down on his bed and I walked into the bathroom. I wet a rag and walked back in.

     "Did you get hurt anywhere else," I said and wiped the blood of his face.

     He nodded and unbuttoned his shirt. Across his chest were bruises that were slowly turning blue. I pulled out my wand.

      "Stay still," I said and slowly healed his bloody nose and black eye. I then  healed his bruises.

      "Draco what happened," I asked and wrapped my arms around him.

      He shook his head and buried his face in my neck.

     "ok," I said and laid next to him.

     "I love you," he yawned. 

     I gripped onto his shirt tighter. "I love you too," I said.

     He fell asleep and I just watched a few minutes before falling asleep myself
