It has been almost a year since the war against Gaea and it has been peaceful which is unnerving for the Demigods of Camp Half-Blood and New Rome. The Demigods are all weary, waiting. There hasn't been a prophecy. Not even a small quest.

Perseus Jackson who we all know as Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase Jackson. Hero and heroine of Olympus.

They were walking along the beach enjoying being together, they've been married almost three months now, though they both feel like something is still missing. As they walked they talked about their future. What they wanted to do together and where they wanted to go.

"Percy I want as peaceful a life as we can get at this point. I love adventuring with you, but we've been through too much. Even Tartarus. I just want to go to school and finish getting a degree, probably in architecture. Maybe in New Rome! We'd be surrounded by friends and we'd be safe. Maybe there we could settle down, maybe even have some kids."

Her voice softened slowly as she realized her husband may not be ready for the discussion of children. It was completely unlike her to misspeak of something so critical to their relationship, she was worried it might scare him a little. Which is funny considering what they'd been through. She turned to him quickly, realizing he was intently staring at her. She realized that he wasn't shocked rather he was surprised.

"What is it seaweed brain?"

"You're ready to talk about kids Annabeth?"

"I suppose so. Why? Do you want some?"

"Well eventually yes but I figured it'd be a long time before the topic came up at all. After all, it's only been three months."

"While that may be true we had a Greek-style wedding remember?"

Percy nodded at this, confused as to where she was taking the statement. "and what does that have anything to do with having kids" Percy inquired.

Annabeth shook her head and leaned in close to whisper in his ear. "Technically under Greek standards, we're still not married babe. We still need to, how do I say this. Consolidate our union, Percy."

Percy turned cherry red as he realized what she was saying. She wanted to well do that. Maybe. Percy swallowed the ball in his throat and asked her quietly. "and you want to do this?" She smiled slyly at him, then started laughing.

"No, not yet but I can tell you want to" She started gasping for air as Percy turned an even darker shade of red. If he got any redder he'd start turning purple. It was at this moment of course that the Fates decided to embarrass Percy a little more as Hermes appeared in his running suit holding a box.

"Delivery Anyone?" His sentence drew off as he saw Annabeth laughing and Percy such a dark crimson color.

"So I take it she gave you the talk or something Perce?" Hermes asked. At this Percy just closed his eyes and hung his head. If you listened closely you could hear him mumbling something that sounded along the lines of "The Fates just love messing with me."

During that interaction, Annabeth had stopped laughing and was looking at Hermes questionably. "We have a package, Lord Hermes?"

"Oh yes thank you for reminding me, and no need to call me Lord now. We're both gods remember?"

"Yes, I remember Hermes thank you. But what's in the package?" Annabeth asked as she took the package from Hermes. "I have no idea what's in the package. I was just asked to deliver it and tell you it will open when it is time."

"Time for what?" Percy inquired. When Percy looked up towards Hermes he was already gone.

It had been six months and three weeks, and that box was driving Annabeth insane. It still hadn't opened and Annabeth was already curious when Hermes told her he didn't know what was inside it. But that was months ago. Now she had exhausted her options trying to open the damn thing. It just wouldn't budge. Then a camper banged on the door of Percy and Annabeth's house. Both Percy and Annabeth answered. The camper stood there red-faced and out of breath. He held a single finger up as he caught his breath. Once he did, he looked at them both and stammered out.

"The Oracle. There's been a prophecy."
