Ch. 2 Prophetic Pain

Harry woke with a start. He didn't know why he woke of course just his luck. As he thought he knew he hadn't had a nightmare. Then as he sat upright on his bed he felt it. His scar that had marked him for as long as he could remember had started to burn, and felt as if it had just been applied. He knew what it meant. Something big was happening.

Percy and Annabeth rushed to the big house, completely over taking the younger camper. As they neared the big house Chiron trotted out with Rachel tailing him. They walked up to the two veteran demigods who had stopped in front of the big house to catch their breath. 

As Rachel neared she went rigid. Turning towards Percy, the all too familiar green smoke billowing out of her mouth. In the Oracles voice she spoke. 

"Approach Hero and seek your destiny."

Percy hesitated only a moment before stepping forward.

"What is the prophecy?" Percy inquired.

The Oracle replied quickly in a raspy voice.

"Son of the sea, Wife of thee.

Your journey begins in lands of kings and queens.

You will find a land forgotten.

That a goddess had begotten.

the angle and archer shall join the frey.

To find an enemy and make him pay.

You will make friends of a giant man.

Who knows your ancestry and a plan.

You will find three golden wands.

Ally or enemy they will con.

Daughter of Rome will make three.

And complete the set to victory."

Percy looked at Annabeth mournfully.

"Ready for one more adventure Wise Girl?" Percy asked. He was honestly worried. He didn't want to go on another quest but fate had tied his hands. He just hoped they came back in one piece. Annabeth quickly slapped him. 

"Ow! What the hell was that for Wise Girl?" Percy exclaimed.

"That was for being a Seaweed brain and pissing off whatever god you did this time." She stated smuggly

"And to think I want to deal with that for all of eternity" Percy mumbled.

Annabeth quickly strode forward and kissed him gently, then pushed him away. Percy turned towards Chiron. 

"Do you have any idea where the 'land of kings and queens' is?"

"Indeed I do m'boy but I think your wife there has the same idea."

Percy turned to Annabeth 

"Where-"

"Shut up Seaweed brain" she interjected "go get packed if we're going where I think we're going we're going to be gone a while."
