Part One

The Nightmare

I opened my eyes to see Jack, scaling a fish for breakfast. He had been fishing for only fifteen minutes and already had ten fish.

"That's my boy" I said to him.

He replied, "You look beautiful today, did you sleep well?"

"I didn't really. I still have been having those nightmares, about the darkness coming."

"Babe, I told you that they're just dreams"

"That's what people had said about you."

"Sweetheart, you should just go back to sleep. It's still early and there's time to get some extra rest. The fish will be ready for you when you awake."

see the trees start to disappear. The whole forest and all the animals just vanished. Then Jack came outside and he too

started to leave. There I was, left to die and no one was there to stop it. Darkness surrounded me, when all of a sudden

it wasn't Jack and I, it was someone else. Someone else was there, and I didn't know who they were.

"Kristen!" Jack had woken me up to the sight of my discomfort. "Again? Maybe I should listen to your dreams. Go ahead and tell me."

I proceeded to tell him the events that just unfolded. He looked intrigued, but still weary about the situation. All of the

sudden, we heard a window being broken. The lights went out because of the wind from outside and darkness flooded

in. I couldn't see anything and Jack had already had his sword drawn. But then, I could make out something, no two

somethings. And that's when I realized, it was two people. A girl and and a boy, that looked similar to Jack and I

........... To be continued..........
