Chapter Six

The Jolly Rodger

"Where are we going?"

"To see the mermaids, the Indians, and the pirates."

The pirates? Did he mean Captain Hook? I couldn't wait to see him. There were so many rumors surrounding him and

I needed to find out for myself. Of course the mermaids and Indians sounded amazing but Hook really intrigued me.

We flew to Mermaids Lagoon, and in the center was a glorious waterfall that had blue glitter running throughout the

blackened water. The mermaids were beautiful and mysterious. One mermaid with dark purple tail and a long silver tail

behind her swam up to me. Her hands were webbed and slimy and her eyes were completely black. She reached out to

me, so I reached back and bent down beside her. She stared at me, curiously. I looked around for Jack, who was busy

talking to another mermaid. All of a sudden I felt the mermaids hand pulling me under the water. I couldn't see a thing.

She kept pulling me deeper and deeper till I couldn't breathe anymore. I blacked out. After who knows how long, I woke

up. I was dizzy and I felt seasick. I had no idea where I was, but I was in what looked like a cabin. I looked out the

window and just saw ocean. But this ocean wasn't black. It was more of an icy blue. Someone knocked on the door of the

tiny room. They entered. It was a man. He looked about my age. He had icy blue eyes that were full of energy and black

hair. He wore a long black coat and had a hook for a hand.

"G'day me lady. Welcome to the Jolly Rodger!"
