The Deal
"Pan?" Does he mean Pan as in Peter Pan? That would be amazing! I mean, he could fly.
"Yes, now I must go"
"No please stay, or you could let me come with you."
" What? Go where? And why would you want to go somewhere with me?"
"I have always wanted to go to the stars, the second star to the right, Neverland and-
I was rudely disrupted. For I did not know he didn't live in Neverland. He didn't live at the second star to the right. He
lived in a dark place called Foreverland. It was located at the second star to the left. I didn't remember this in my
childhood stories. A part of me was disappointed, but a larger part of me was intrigued. Even though I had always loved
fairytales, I also loved to read the Grimm's rendition. For it provided satisfaction to my darker side.
"I would take you but that's just not my style."
" Oh please!" I pleaded, "I don't care if it's different, I long for adventure and suspense!" All my life I have been waiting
for this moment. The moment that will ultimately decide my fate, and can altar depending on the result. If he said no, I
would go back to hoping and wishing for the moment to come even though it never would. But if he said yes my life
would be fulfilled.
"Ok, fine. You can come to Foreverland with me. There's one condition, you must leave everything you love, behind. For there is no happiness in Foreverland."
