Part Five

The Arrival

As I thought of my biggest fears, I could feel my feet lifting off the ground. I could see sparkles around

me, which he had stored in a pouch aroud his waist. He told me to think of what frightened me the most.

That's what kept him flying. I was beginnging to learn more and more about Jack. He wasn't like the

Peter Pan we all knew and loved. He was dark, and he had an errie presence. His troubled past kept him fighting the

captain that inhabited Foreverland. They called him, Hook. But he wasn't the normal Hook. He wasn't an evil pirate, he

was just a man compared to Jack. He intrigued me, and I wanted to know more about him. As we flew up into the stars,

Jack yelled, "Second star to the left and straight on till dark!"

Apparently it was always nighttime there. Only once a month was there sunlight. The moon shined bright ahead of us.

We were flying so fast that I thought I would have caught on fire, but fire was the fuel I needed. My father helped me in

flying. The only thing he ever gave me was anger and hatred, which I never thought would come in handy. Jack and I

neared Foreverland. We flew over the beaches which had sand red as blood and water black as night. Through the tall

dead trees and past the gray meadows. Everything was dark, and I liked it. It reminded me of my home. We finally

reached Jacks hideaway. It was a giant tree that had a secret code to get in. He entered it, without letting me see what he

had put, and we went down the staircase leading to the "main hall" of the tree. Inside there was dark blue walls and gray

decor, not that he had much furniture. There was a campfire and a couple beds made of hay.

I went to Jack and said, " It looks lovely." I lied.

"I know it's dark, I like it that way."

"So, tell me about yourself."

" It's a long story, but ok. When I was a child, my father took me to a park. He put me down next to a tree and left me

there. I was a baby and he left me there to die. I was terrified. Then, a bright red light came flying towards me. It was

Firefly. She was my guardian fairy. She saved my life. Speaking of Firefly, where is she?"

All of a sudden a bright red light flew right in front of my face. It was Firefly. She had red flame hair and an ash colored

dress. She didn't look very happy to see me. Me and Jack continued our conversation, and by the end we found out we

had much more in common then we had thought. We were both orphans. We both had gone through very dark times in

our lives.

"I have a great idea," Jack told me, " in the morning, let's go exploring."
