These voices. They're driving me nuts. Since they're unhappy and screaming for help, most of the time I can't take it. Like right now. I just want to scream.
"Just shut up already!" I scream holding my head sitting at my desk.
"Luna!" Yelled the teacher.
The teacher stopped talking and I guess turned around and looked at me with her cold blue eyes. I slowly look up, and put my arms down in my lap, to see her angry face.
"That was the third time this class. It's only been 15 minutes."
"I'm sorry. But...."
"I know. You keep hearing voices."
The class laughed under their breath. I look behind me, then back to my lap while I play with my fingers. I heard the teacher sigh.
"Why don't you go take a walk."
"But I...." I start as I look up.
"No buts. Just go."
No one ever listens to me. I feel so angry I just want to yell at her.
"I can hear voices! I'm not crazy!" I yell at the teacher.
"I never said you were...."
"You were thinking it! Everyone does!"
"Luna! To the office! This is the last straw! Out!"
I stare at the teacher for a second then I start to pack up my things.
"Looney Luna's in trouble again." Roger Fielder muttered to his friends.
I throw my backpack over my shoulder and try to ignore everyone.
"Don't listen to him Luna." Clove whispered as I pasted her.
She had brown red hair with blue eyes that sparkle. They were always filled with joy. She was always there for me. There for me to cry on, for me to get advice, for me to just talk to someone like a real person. In a way, she was my mom.
I get into the hall and walk down it.
I'm so sick of these voices. Why can't they just go away? Ever since I was 12 they ruined my life. 10 is when they started sounding worried. Then when I was 13 is when they started screaming. I thought they were great when I was a kid, now I do feel like I'm crazy. What if I really am? What if it is just in my head? Maybe my brother's right. Maybe I do just want attention.
"Help us!"
"Please!"
"Help!"
They're starting again. I grab my head and throw myself in the lockers then curl up on a ball.
"Just stop." I mumble.
After a minute or two I feel a soft touch on my shoulder and I snap my head up. I see a guy bending over in front of me. He had grey blue eyes and light brown hair.
"Are you okay?" He asks.
"Yeah....just got a headache."
"Oh. Well....can you show me to room 205 for math?"
That was just the classroom I was just in.
"Yeah." I stand up. "This way."
I start walking back to the classroom. I open the door and the teacher is still writing on the board. She turns her head to look at me.
"I thought I said the office Ms. Knight."
"I know you did. But this guy was looking for this class." I explain.
