"So what to do" I sat on the stool at the Flagerts inn an just kept thinking. I had finished working on a job I was hired for to make money to buy a house within the city of Mahg but those extra jobs weren't cutting it I needed a good job "Hey Keith heard any rumors for any work" Keith(the inn owner) was cleaning out a tankard when I had asked "No...not really..if I hear anything I'll let you know" after that he went back to cleaning his tankards an I just sat on the stool pondering. "Now dammit there has to be something" I eventually got up from my seat an paid for the meal I had to eat an the Redwicket liquor I had to drink the walked out of the inn into the cold fall night. I stood near the stairs by the torch on a wooden pillar that lead down to the cobblestone street but I just stood there looking up an down the street. "What is it with this year haven't gotten one good flow of money an haven't had anyone to work with or find a new job from" I kept standing near the pillar with the torch still watching up an down the street waiting until I saw someone I've never seen before they were walking into the town I couldn't make out the figure if it was a girl or a guy until they got closer an I saw it was a girl I thought to myself "I wonder what the lass is doing here" I stood there an watched to see if she was here to cause trouble or not but she just walked without care until she got near the steps to the inn she looked up at me an I stood there at the wooden pillar I looked away after a minute or two an she started walking up the steps then stopped beside me an put her hand on my shoulder an said to me in a low soft voice "it's not nice to star ya bugger now either lay off or shove off" I looked at her an smirked "You really think that'll get me of so your dead wrong" I looked down still smirking an she gripped my shoulder "Well I'll just prove you wrong" after I heard her say that all I felt was a strong pain in my stomach an had a loss of breath when I looked down her hand was in my gut "gah" I kneeled down an tried catching my breath an I heard her motion to hit me but I rolled back to the door of the inn then stood up "You know not many people catch me by surprise" she looked at me while I looked back at her.

I actually saw what she looked like she had dark red hair with blue eyes, black face paint, a sword on her back an side, an armor on while I had none of my gear on but she kept looking at me "thought you woulda dropped to your knees crying like a welp but I guess not" I chuckled some an smirked "well next time figure out who your gonna attack before you attack them" she kept looking at me then finally too a step forward an went to hit me with a right hook if I didn't know what she was doing I wouldn't have time to react but I caught her hand an held it there then kicked her stomach sending her off the porch of the inn to the cobblestone street I looked at her for a moment while she was catching her breath I walked down an held out my hand for her to grab it "You ok I didn't mean to kick you that hard I'm not really use to kicking people off porches" after I said that she chuckled some with me an took my hand I pulled her up to her feet "so are you ok an what are you doing here in Mahg there's nothing here for anyone" she looked at me for a moment then replied back "Yeah I'm fine just in some pain but its something normal that happen" I kept looking at her an agreed "Yeah that's the truth but you still didn't answer my other question" she smacked her head lightly "My bad I'm just here looking for someone to go with me on a small mission of my own trying to track someone down but I don't really wanna go by myself" I nodded in agreement because I understood that "Well hell I can go with you ain't got anything better to do in this shit hole of a town" she took a step forward "Are you sure you don't have to but if you want to go then don't keep yourself from it" I shook her hand an told her I'll get my stuff from Keith the inn keeper an we can be on are way an with that she nodded an I went into the in a grabbed my stuff then headed back out to her an we started on our way.
