Chapter: 6

After i heard the signal i rushed out to the men who turned when i started yelling in shock. The younger man was stuck in place from Clara's arrow that had went right into his foot. I kept charging till i got within a hands reach of the older man who by this time was ready to fight back. Right when i went to hit him i mustve been to slow because his right hook had connected staggering me i looked at him for a moment then smirked.

Maxen: "Ya shouldnt have done that"

At that moment i charged again this time connecting my punch sending him back. While he was kneeling down i charged for the other man who had just got the arrow out of his foot an swung at him but he managed to successfully dodge my attack an swung right back hitting me in the gut. I was to focused on the younger man to pay any attention to the older one who was already up ready to attack i was waiting for the younger man to try to attack but he just smirk.

Maxen: "What you getting cocky?"

The younger man then spoke up

Biorgn: "Not really but i must say this was over quickly right awdin?"

At that moment i felt a burning feeling in my back i tried to move but i was being held still by awdin. Little did i know he had stabbed me in the side. I dropped to my knees and felt a foot on my back. Awdin kicked forward and had pulled the knife out of my side as he kicked. I felt weaker as i laid there on my stomach. I had enough strength to roll over to my back however then i heard clara yell

Clara: "MAXEN. YOU BASTARDS WHAT ARE YOU DOING" she then began to fire arrows as fast as she could but with her state of rage she couldn't hit her mark on either of the men as they fled. She ran over to me an knelt beside me

Maxen: "Hey there.. Not the best words to say at the moment but.."

At that moment clara covered my mouth.

Clara: "Just shut up princess. We need to get you patched up an quick your bleeding badly"

I moved her hand and began to try to sit up.

Maxen: "I-im fine."

She then gave me a glare then spoke up in a sort of sarcastic and angry tone

Clara: "Then get your fucking ass up then princess"

I tried to get up but i couldn't it hurt to damn much to move, i tried one more time only to fail.

Maxen: "Gah" i went to hold my side but clara just moved my hand an held it in her hand "i cant get up."

She looked at me concerned and she tried to help me up as softly as she could but even the smallest movement hurt.

Clara: "Im sorry i know it hurts Maxen im trying to be easy"

After a few moments she managed to get me up we began to head out the way we came until we heard more footsteps clara tried to hurry in getting me out of there but i stopped her an managed to stand up straight.

Maxen: "I will not run away a coward" at that moment i looked over to clara an her face showed her anger

Clara: "We're not running away as cowards we're trying to keep you alive"

she began to walk back over to me but she then looked straight ahead as the footsteps got closer. They had gotten right to us and some of them began talking amongst them selves with a look that mad my skin crawl. Clara began to walk around slowly not taking her eyes off of them until i managed to drop down to one knee from the pain still keeping my self up by planting my sword in the ground.

Clara: "Well since you dont wanna run think you can manage to fight?"

I look over to her an i give her a thumbs up because i didnt want to say anything an nothing came up in my head to reply.

Half of the group that had came after us began to walk towards me as the others charged at clara. She began fighting them off one by one but wasnt able to take any down as another would attack as soon as she got close to finishing one off. The others however had begun to circle around me i tried to keep my eyes on them as much as possible until an arrow was shot in my back alittle ways below my shoulder. I reached back an broke the arrow off an ass i did one began to charge. An as he did i pulled the knife that was sheathed on my side an stabbed right underneath his armpit. As i stabbed into him though another arrow had struck me in the back. Alittle ways below my shoulder i reached back an broke the arrow off like the first. Another person who looked like a younger woman then charged me but i managed to move out of the way enough to miss her strike. I took the opportunity while i could and stabbed her in the gut pulling to the side and took out my knife as she went to hold her stomach i spun her around an put my back against hers. Putting the knife against her throat i spun slicing her throat, when i finished spinning i tossed my dagger at another man which went right below his chest. I was standing still till another arrow had hit me in the back. I turned around only to be hit with another in my shoulder. The man had another arrow ready to fire by the time i could get my eyes on him. I looked at him for a moment when he smirked my vision fading.

Maxen: "Oh you're really starting to piss me off!"

??: "You two aren't going to leave here alive. You do know that right?"

As soon as he finished what he was saying he fired the arrow hitting me in my shoulder i broke off the arrow an began to charge at him with what little strength i had left. I finally reached him picking him up and slamming him down. As he laid there grasping for are i raised my sword an plunged it into his throat.

Maxen: "What now." as i said that i spat on him. I looked over to the last man but he didnt do anything but look at me with fear in his eyes. I went to move an he ran away as fast as he could. I looked over to Clara who had a few cuts on her from the group she fought but they either laid wounded at her feet or dead.

Maxen: "Nice job Cla--" but before i could finish i dropped down all out of strength an losing more of my vision.

Clara: "Maxen!!" as she yelled she was running over to me but before she could get to me i blacked out.
